    I’m a Bell guy too - been running the Bell Eliminator for awhile now. I’m always a white helmet fan for the visibility. Great review!

    Nice review, Burt. Since I have a large touring bike, with an electrically powered windscreen, I have been wearing the Bell SRT Modular since 2019. I have 2 of them, my latest in white. I have stuck with Bell because they are comfortable with good fit and finish. Optically they are exceptional. Since I do a lot of high speed and longer distant riding, I need a helmet that checks a lot of boxes. Overall, I have found Bell to be the best for the price. I enjoy your content, keep up the good work.

      Hey Vincent! Thanks for watching and the kind comment. Likewise I don’t think you can go wrong with Bell Helmets. Having that great windshield you can pretty much wear what you want and not worry too much about the wind blast. I’ll have to check out those SRT helmets.
      Appreciate ya!

    Is that a Z900RS Cafe with clip ons? @ 3:23

      No. It was my old W800. It had clubman bars on it.

      Hey there! Appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. The chin skirt is an accessory left over from my old HJC Modular. Just attaches with velcro. Here is the link. Any chin skirt will work that has a plastic lip to mount a velcro strip.

      @bertsbike thanks for replying
      Did u use a double tape to attach the headset to helmet , the helmet? The helmet edges seems thick for the attachment clip

      @@nabilalsmadi6910 I actually don’t have my SeNa speakers mounted to this yet. Depending on your setup and speaker width they *should* fit in the ear pockets. I used velcro on mine.
      If you’re talking about my vlog lapel microphone. I’d place it on the inside of chin skirt. It also has a little lapel clip to fasten to it… You could use some velcro to the inside wall maybe for a more secure fit. Really it will be an experiment depending on what you prefer.

    Hi really great and detailed review! 😁I know it’s been 10 month but could you tell me if you can easily remove and install the chin guard when wearing the helmet? And do you think the materials on the chin guard is safe enough for commuting and weekend mountain rides! thanks a lot

      It's easy enough to remove on the fly, but is a two handed affair. With the chin bar in place it feels very sturdy. Feels like a good full-face. I can't say anything about it in a crash but I know I'd rather be wearing it than a half shell or the Bell Rogue. Cheers!

    How does this helmet go with comms? Is there room for mic and ear speakers?

    • @bertsbike
      @bertsbike  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@spittyrides There is room for speakers but I'd go with some lower profile ones. If you're planning on riding with the half helm configuration, You'll need a gooseneck mic. Otherwise, lots of places to tape a mic inside the chin guard. Honestly, I'd go with a more quiet helmet if you're planning on outfitting it with a sena/speakers etc.

    No place to lock it to your bike you have to carry it. I guess you can put a cable thru it as long as they don't know the front section comes off.

      You're right... That's one advantage of the d-ring.

      Youre going to all reviews of this helmet and copy and pasting the exact same comment? Real weirdo behavior.
