Honestly if she was shown with an evil look I might have considered skipping, like opposite opinions here, I almost skipped Kafka because of her being sus and the spirit whisper, but after her quest I saw she isn't "as" sus as I thought, that said I agree that too little Topaz on the animations, I skipped Luocha and Fu Xuan and might also skip Huo Huo, like really missing on some stuff with me 😆 🤣 I might want Hanya or maybe not, but don't want Argenti or Jing Yuan if they rerun it here. I'm pulling here, I pulled Seele, and Silver Wolf and Kafka I lost 50/50 on all 3, Seele was a ton of wishes, Silver Wolf early at 50, Kafka came in same 10x as fail, I got E1 Sushang from Jing Yuan's banner pulling for it, and E1 Yukong on Luocha's and got Lynx in Fu Xuan's...

You can put Jing Yuan with topaz also very bad luck but skipping Fu Xuan you skipping the only 2 good healer and tank character .@@MegaGreenkirby

I'm not attracted to women like ya are, so I actually don't mind that Numby takes up most of the animations. Will be pulling for follow up based combat and cute pet Numby
I was expecting Topaz the most but when I see her animations was a punch in my face the only five star that I wanted and saving since the start of the game
It's a shame because when I saw her I was like GOD DAMN but now I'm so underwhelmed by the kit and the animations it's like there's no way I'd ever be satisfied with pulling her
I have Himeko and I want Clara from the selector. So, I'm waiting to see if she is really that good for them or if it's just another team option. Either way I'll probably just skip until the rerun to save for Blade, both him and Clara are why I wanted to play this game.
Clara E6 will definitely make Topaz OP if you eventually get that far.

From everything I've heard, It is good synergy, but it's not as good synergy as other characters currently provide
Tingyun is basically always played with Jing on his best teams, and you really want a sustain who prevents status like fu xuan, and/or a cleanser
That basically means topaz will almost always be the 4th pick for a jing yuan team. And while she's not a bad pick at all, there's still a decent chunk of jing yuans damage that comes from his skill/ultimate. So, you'd probably be better off running asta or bronya or maybe even yukong. Silver wolf or pela probably also work slightly better honestly because they increase all of his damage and offer other utility to the team while being just as skill point positive (if jing yuan is on the quantum set, silver wolf in particular is pretty nuts honestly as always)

Topaz will be fine and she'll do way more personal damage than any of the supportive characters listed. If her damage is high enough, she could be a better choice. But it's kind of iffy honestly and I think her synergy with clara just sounds better
If anyone is reading this and has jing yuan, I would highly recommend waiting until a bunch of people tedt her out with him because it's actually not clear cut one way or another and we just have to see
I completely agree with your analysis. I am pulling for Seele (missed her on launch) and have Kafka, so I want Guinaifen. IMO, follow-up teams aren't ready yet, and I'm fine waiting for Topaz's rerun when follow-up teams are viable.
There’s a rumor that the first 5 star harmony is coming in 1.6, Herta’s icy friend. I’m hard saving for that after getting Jong Liu.
I completely agree. Idk why but I feel like Topaz & Numby's design don't belong together. Like Topaz is cool/hot/sexy and Numby is cute/goofy; they should've gone all in one way or the other, but going half and half didn't end up mixing well.
Tbf Topaz isnt a fighter type like Jing Yuan but a Pokemon trainer type for sure so Numby doing the job fits also she is more of a sub dps unit which change team archetype. I also have so many sustain units like Gepard, Fu xuan and the 2 4 stars so HuoHuo is a skip too. So basically I am gonna pull for Eidolons or LC of my existing characters like Fu xuan LC and E2 Silverwolf or a Honkai Expy

I went for her because I already use a follow up team in SU and it's extremely fun. Clara, Jing Yuan, Luocha, March right now. I can sub out March for Topaz and just destroy stuff with Elation builds. Though I am already doing that without her. But still. I am the lord of follow ups so skipping this follow up synergy wasn't in the cards lol.
Threw away a 5 star weapon worth of that material you can buy standard 5 stars with to get her after losing the 50/50 to bailu. Already have the Bronya light cone so no regrets there.
As a Himeko main in HSR and a Eula main in Genshin, there's no way I'm gonna skip HSR Eula lmao. Hoyo is truly the GOAT for making all of these fine af fire ladies synergize well with each other 😂 Guinaifen is also cute and I wanna get her for my Kafka team too!
After that I'll be broke for sure so I gotta try and save up enough to snipe Hanya and then save for 1.6 and beyond. I had some dreams that told me we'll be getting our first limited Harmonies in the not too distant future, and also a 5 star DoT unit who will be a must have for a Kafka team. I also kinda want Blade on a rerun... HSR just keeps releasing too many characters I want lol
As a Himeko main I don't see Topaz as a worthy slot in any team with her. FUA is not her main focus, it's her mini-game that you play around for optimal clears. But, anything will work with enough investment have fun in your own ways~
@@therealkoga2519 Yeah I kinda agree, Himeko is less follow up focused than many people think. And Harmony characters are just kinda overtuned, so dual DPS teams mostly just end up being worse than hypercarry teams. I'm kinda bored of hypercarry teams though so even if it's slightly suboptimal I'm interested to try something new
There is definitely synergy there though. Himeko and Topaz cover each other's weaknesses in ST and AoE, and both benefit from Asta (especially with Planetary Rendezvous, which I have at S5). And in a triple fire team vs fire weak enemies, you should be breaking very frequently so Himeko's should get a good number of follow ups if played correctly
I'm planning on getting sleele's light cone cause surprisingly there's only 3 characters in the whole game I currently like sleele is my fav and the other 2 are 4 stars
Must skip character 😂 I wouldn't go that far but I see what you're saying. I do have a built Clara and Himeko so I'm kinda torn. I did just get E1S1 Jingliu and she humiliates every form of content in the game, so I don't NEED to pull anything. It also bankrupted my jade savings... I too am in love with Guinaifen's design and personality, I don't have Kafka though. Further, her LC banner has Resolution Shines which I desperately need for Pela (feelsbad stealing Silver Wolf's LC every time I use her), and I do have Seele if I accidently get an early 5* cone.
I am pulling for Guinaifen (hope that don’t happen my yoimia fiasco again lol)
i have Clara and a team with those two likes like a fun variation of the same old hypercarry teams.
She is like kafka and will enable different teams the more characters are released.

Not only that, as of now, they nerfed the damn FuA set that is about to come in 1.5
She's fun looks good but its one of those situations where you won't be missing much by waiting to see how her future support fleshes out. The risk is too great with things like Hanabi and Ruan Mei around the corner... even HuoHuo is in a similar boat, everythings cool about her but 4t ults is steep. Im thinking both these units will have a future character release and just take them to the next level. Or it doesn't happen, either way you only win by skipping.

I do agree that there are good reasons to skip, and to save your resources. But I don't think that their impact on you will be the same as it is now. In my opinion, the reruns are often accompanied with characters, which give you a stronger incentive to pull for them, and to let go of the one, which you formerly wanted to have. The situation is just too different.
So I think: Skipping and waiting for a rerun, is often equal to dismissing the character all together.
I’m also skipping Topaz, mostly because I don’t really like Numby and Numby is, let’s be honest, like 90% of the kit lol. I’m leaning toward saving for either Huo Huo, Argenti, or Silverwolf rerun.
It's kinda sad, from Topaz's early "dreams" her animations honestly looked hilarious, the way sheet swirled around and yeeted the trotter. Unfortunately in the actual polished animation you barely see her do it at all and basically just see the trotter. Big disappointment.
Im gonna try to snipe for Guinaifen with 30 pulls, if i didnt get her its fine, because i have a "dream" that 5 star Nihility Waifu will released soon.

Herta has follow-up attacks, too, but she's at the bottom of my to-build list. I do not have Clara, Jing Yuan, Kafka, Himeko... So Topaz is a much easier skip for me. I see no need for this kind of teams now. In Swarm Disaster, there is an Elation blessing that turns every ult into a follow-up attack, and that is all I know and want regarding follow-up attacks in HSR for the time being.

Its much more Numby doing the same animations. I do like her kit but I think she is meant to be used more with some future character.
not really, any follow up character and even herself alone will work, she can be built as dps, sub-dps and support.

@@TheJelloShow It's a PS restriction 100%. You can link your PS to Hoyo but not the otherway around.

She's bland, she's weak and she's bad. Not badass, just bad. Easiest skip if my life.
Hoyo gave her cakes to attract those booba and as s simps cause they know she her kit ain't sellin and actually her story wasn't that great like yukong story was peak .(And yukong story was better than her)
And they started seele rerun to balance the revenue so it doesn't drop hard.
