The inhibitor chip essentially turned the clones into droids. In the process many went insane - likely screaming inside their own minds from being forced to do what the chips made them do - or at very least were mentally damaged by what the chips did to them. Hence why in Rebels Wolf is quite unstable and prone to bouts of paranoia because the chip damaged his mind.
@@AndrewJamesWilliams But, didn't Wolf removed his chip?. Or perhaps Rex and Ahsoka find him later, and remove his chip after being already activated?.

The jedi viewing them as human makes their use of clones even worse. They know full well they're a slave army and are perfectly fine letting it continue. The Republic in general is ignorant of the reality.
@@overlorddante well, they're facing on of the most powerful non sentient army, with trillions of battle droids, so maybe they don't put human rights at the forefront of their mind at that time
The mention of Clones having one-night stands actually makes sense now that I think about it. But that raises the question... can Clones have children? I imagine the Kaminoans probably made them sterile, but if they didn't, would the genetic modifications like the faster aging be passed along? Would we actually see a new near-human species based on these modifications?
@@tylerbracco1349 I’m pretty sure that he adopted his wife’s children as his own, considering their age. There was a story of a clone who escaped from Kamino, he was hunted and killed by Jango. Boba later came across that escaped clone’s son, who was a prodigy in combat, likely due to his father’s enhanced genetics.
The life of a Clone was never easy, while some did get much better treatment under the right caring Jedi and even Republic Officers, not every Clone was that lucky, and even those under good/kind leaders had some problems. It's like Rex said in season 7, "We Clones have mixed feelings about the war. Some would wish it never happened in the first place, but without it we wouldn't exist." And Rex was a very smart Clone, I'd like to believe he and several other Clones under good leadership came to understand that while their life is hard they are very lucky to be under such great leaders who genuinely care for them and give them as much freedom as they can. Sure it wasn't always a good life, but for those lucky units, I'd like to believe the positives outweighed the negatives. Unfortunately, that's not true for all Clones and those under real Karabase of leaders probably had a horrible life and I can only feel true sadness for them. That's why if I was a Clone I'd pick a unit like the 501st, 212th, Wolf Pack, and the like because provided I don't die in battle then I'd have an alright life with great comrades by my side, you know until the Inhibitor Chip practically strips all my freedom from me, but before that, it would be a good life.

I think the Clone's slavery was no secret to either the clones or the Jedi, but they all felt powerless to do anything about it, so simply put it from their minds. Additionally, for many of the clones, who had known nothing but slavery since the moment of their first breaths, it might have felt difficult to imagine what freedom was actually like, considering they had never known anything but slavery. Not to mention, the Republic was careful to restrict how much contact the Clones had with the outside world, precisely to ensure that the clones did not begin to question their situation. Its really too bad that we never found out what happened to Slick after he was arrested, though its likely that he was simply executed as a traitor.

**"Hot dates with the right hand you say"** clone looks from his bunk to another clone on his bunk **"you know we're clones right so your right hand is my right hand"*
This makes me wonder what happened to Clones that were injured too far to continue fighting. Were they repurposed for administrative duties or were they executed?
Anakain let his clone trooper army do whatever they wanted and treated them like normal human beings. He even Developed a close friendship with Captain Rex. The final season of the Clone Wars it was evident that Anankin respected Rex and let him do whatever he wanted. Also Asoka valued them as well and seen Rex like a older brother as well. The only other clone that had a real Friendship was Cody with Obi won. Even during Order 66 when Cody fired on Obi wan he did not follow though the attack and let Obi Wan go. Cody knew that Obi Won survived and has witnessed first hand how durable Obi Wan is.
I agree that the clones were slaves but I can guarantee that if given the option they would choose the republic over freedom. Even if they were made aware of their true standing and lack of rights they would continue to serve because they understood the pivotal role they played. there have been tons of instances when clones expressed they’re loyalty to the republic and willingness to die for a cause they genuinely believe in. A great example being rex who faced not one but two traitors and still remained unquestioningly loyal. I would note too that towards the end of the war many clones were tired of the fighting and did begin to question the legitimacy of the war but even then they did what they had too up until order 66.
@Victor Nikolai That last part, the clones were not aware of- still, though... I'd have gladly taken them being imperfect, highly indoctrinated human beings who pulled the trigger as ordered and then regretted it (or not, each instance depending), than the whole chip deal. Order 66 was a contigency they had been bred and raised to be capable of executing, just like any other. We saw very clearly in the show and games how their indoctrination had them majorly be extremely loyal to the Republic: that alone would've been more than enough.
It warms my heart that once the clones were with the republic and not on kamino that they were treated well and had some choice on things and how they would’ve liked their Jedi a lot more than the kamonoans
I keep imagining a question that I fail to rembember anyone consider to ask or theorice about; "What if the Republic won the war? What would happen with the clones?" Aswell as: "What is the ethics behind cloning people for a singular purpouse that may one day cease to be?"
I've been pondering this question. I feel people like Anakin and Padme would push for integration. But simple integration wouldn't work I dont think. Their skills and life experiences up to that point centered around war and fighting. Sure, some clones had already taken on roles as body guards, wardens, and police officers. But I think allowing clones the option to pick a new profession would be something interesting to explore.
The ease of which some clones were able to desert the GAR while retaining their armor and weaponry, like Gregor, speaks to a sort of freedom in that the Republic didn't have the resources to personally micromanage everybody, so higher ranked troopers were trusted to be able to manage themselves. The GAR didn't bother looking for a captain of clone commandoes, because it was assumed that if he was alive, he would be trusted to come back himself.
Republic: *raises millions of people with no semblance of non-war human culture* Clones: *Assist in a fascist coup and oppress everyone because they only value violence and order* Republic: :0
As nice as it sounds that Kal got the Clones leave, and it is a good thing.... He also partly did it so that he could have his squad of clones going around investigating and they wouldn't seem out of place.
I always assumed the Clones were genetically/chemically altered to be more accepting of authority and were pretty content with their role as it was all they really knew. Interested to see how much i learn from this. After watching: So I assumed right with the Clones mostly not having any conception of what freedom really meant. However, I had no idea they went out partying when they could. That's awesome.
What about the clones at the Clone Bar on Coruscant? 99’s? They were granted some form of liberty (military jargon for free time). They were allowed to get drunk.
What I always wanted to know is, what was the official plan for the clones after the war. And I do not mean what acually happend to them or what Palpatin planed, but what the official plan was. Like if you asked Palpatin doing a press conference, what would happen to the clones if the republic wins the war. Would they have to stay in barracks ... till forever, exept when needed, would they been given a free life but had to come back if needed or used as factory workers ... or somthing in between. And again, not what Palpatin planed, but what were the official plans of the republic.
As for us, unless there's a battle your company is participating in, or a drill is happening, we can do anything we want in our fortress monasteries (and the planet that fortress monastery is on), as long as it's got nothing to do with the vile forces of choas. This allows us to also be archeologists, architects, and even trainers for the local guardsmen.
One little thing-you said other armies don’t consider their soldiers property, but the US army DOES consider you legally their property. You can get charged with an article-15 for getting a sunburn since that’s damaging government property. You also have a different set of laws you have to adhere to while in the us army. So while you still have freedom, you technically are the army’s property
Wow! There's so much I didn't know despite reading quite a few novels and even having a short lived sprite comic that featured a band of Clones lost in the multiverse. I have profiles I need to re-examine now. I never really thought about how they are brainwashed canon fodder when you strip away all the traits others project onto them.
Lol imagine being there for a clone drunk bar fight now is that that would have been both hilarious and terrifying as they were all basically combat experts but they were all drunk as fuck just going at it with each other probably laughing while they were doing it stumbling around while also pulling off crazy feats that no one else could possibly do
I'd love a video about the Senate Commandos, given they are non-clone units and have more freedom, but also have a big job or protecting the government.
This man just described the British Army 😂 you can have weekends taken away, leave cancelled at the last minute even if you've paid for a holiday, ROPs (Restriction of Privileges) where you are only allowed to work and not go to the Mess after working hours, or even AGAI 67 where you have to parade in front of the Guardhouse every night for a maximum of 30 days. And Gods forbid if you get uniform parades as punishment where you'll parade in work gear, ceremonial gear, PT kit, CBRN kit, literally one after the other and given only minutes to go change. Straight up if the clone life sounds "good" to you, join the Army. And when he said "they didn't know they weren't free" (or something similar) imagine joining the army at 16 - you DON'T know what freedom is and probably won't recognise that you aren't.
Last thing I want from those clauses to redeem themselves by removing these chips. So they can join the rebellion to get their revenge on sidious for using them as pawns.
I writing a book about clones who were abducted by a shadow organization connected to the Mauldalorians. It's about clones that didnt fight in the clone wars and were genetically modified to be basically immortal, resistant to death and loyal to an ideal not an individual. They were part of the reason the clone grand army was so expensive, they were given highly specialized equipment and armour, lead by a reprogrammed Assassin Droid and Mauldalorian precursor and a Rogue Sith Kight. I know it sounds a bit stupid to call it a book as it's just a fan fiction, but I want to add philosophical questions and reintroduce some of Starwars roots, Dune. I really want to avoid politics and instead focus on the mentality of the clones and the morals they slowly adopt. I also mentioned earlier that the clone will be basically immortal, they can still die but have a tendency to not bleed out or give up after a few blaster shots. Anyways I cant wait to have it reviewed by one of these commentary sites
When you're soo early that they are only early and first comments and there is nothing funny but you can't think of anything yourself. "The only problem with going faster than light is, is that you'll always be in the darkness"

Clone: Oops, wrong universe
Clones: So if we fight for you, we get right sand freedom?
Republic: Well, yes but actually no.
Since they were Kiwis, wouldn't they play Clone Cricket and not clone baseball?
Imagine a baseball game between clones/droids. But the droids were actually good.
"hot dates with their right hands" broooo wtf😂😂😂
That's a blursed thing...
Well...No Nut November didn't matter to them I guess
Just happened
4:43 they are fighting the flood, from the videogame series: Halo.
When you are a soldier, war becomes freedom and standby feels like isolation.
Video Idea: How much testing was done with the Phase Two Armor? How much feed back did the Arc troopers give?
"Hot dates with their right hands"
I laughed, my mum didn't
Plot twist: They Have So Much freedom! They have.....
...None.
Well. There are people with less freedom
I remember that one episode when they find an awol clone and threaten to turn him in. It was absolutely no choice but to fight
"Though the clones likely had one night stands anyway."
So...like the Jedi. XD
I-i mean. Sure. Do what you want if its not you and youre troop
I keep imagining a question that I fail to rembember anyone consider to ask or theorice about;
"What if the Republic won the war? What would happen with the clones?"
Aswell as:
"What is the ethics behind cloning people for a singular purpouse that may one day cease to be?"
7:11 thanks for putting the imagine in my head 😭
The ease of which some clones were able to desert the GAR while retaining their armor and weaponry, like Gregor, speaks to a sort of freedom in that the Republic didn't have the resources to personally micromanage everybody, so higher ranked troopers were trusted to be able to manage themselves. The GAR didn't bother looking for a captain of clone commandoes, because it was assumed that if he was alive, he would be trusted to come back himself.
“Hot dates with their right hands” COMPLETELY caught me off guard and I choked on my soda XD
the missions the nightmare there finally over
thank you for making lore-videos about how DARK and GRITTY the clone-wars are
Republic: *raises millions of people with no semblance of non-war human culture*
Clones: *Assist in a fascist coup and oppress everyone because they only value violence and order*
Republic: :0
4:45 : I forgot what the name is for it in star wars but it looks a lot like the flood.
At 4:44, was that Clones frighting the Flood? Oddly that is a fight I would love to see.
I am a artist and my friend is a game designer, I drew custom phase 1 and 2 armor. My friend made it into 3D and rigged it aswell
I was givin the freedom to watch to Obi Wan's jokes.
Hello sweetheart. How is my favorite clone child today?
I love those thumbnails!
As nice as it sounds that Kal got the Clones leave, and it is a good thing.... He also partly did it so that he could have his squad of clones going around investigating and they wouldn't seem out of place.
Which proves that the Empire are the GOOD GUYS!
This was interesting thanks .
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@geetslys But we still don't know if clones played baseball in their freetime, like in your thumbnail pic.
I always assumed the Clones were genetically/chemically altered to be more accepting of authority and were pretty content with their role as it was all they really knew. Interested to see how much i learn from this.
After watching:
So I assumed right with the Clones mostly not having any conception of what freedom really meant. However, I had no idea they went out partying when they could. That's awesome.
What about the clones at the Clone Bar on Coruscant? 99’s? They were granted some form of liberty (military jargon for free time). They were allowed to get drunk.
4:47 why are phase 1 clone troopers fighting the flood from halo ?
@Dominate Gene never said it was bad
No idea. But I think it's got to do with the fans wanting a crossover.
“Sweet dates with there right hands” isn’t that everyone that doesn’t have a girlfriend
8:45 "die fighting FOR the confederacy" ? XD
the more you know
Bro, how do you know so much lore? I'm amazed. I love your videos.
I like the clone in the thumbnail it playing baseball
If alcohol reduces inhibitions, in theory, it should potentially cause issues with the bio-mechanical inhibitor chips.
So the best way to avoid getting killed via order 66 is to give the clones by booze
The clone playing baseball in the thumbnail though
I love clones; please keep doing more clone vids geetslys I love them and look forward to more
I really wish there was a clonewars episode with the clones fighting off the flood.
7:07
Everyone in quarantine: maybe I am a clone.
Clones freedom depends on the general they’re served under. The scale is from Anakin to Pong Krell
4:50 , the GAR runs into the Flood
Oooh right hands huh them holograms must be very inspiring to watch then
This man just described the British Army 😂 you can have weekends taken away, leave cancelled at the last minute even if you've paid for a holiday, ROPs (Restriction of Privileges) where you are only allowed to work and not go to the Mess after working hours, or even AGAI 67 where you have to parade in front of the Guardhouse every night for a maximum of 30 days.
Me asking myself today what armor paintjob heavy would have if he would still live to fight alongside fives and echo
Last thing I want from those clauses to redeem themselves by removing these chips. So they can join the rebellion to get their revenge on sidious for using them as pawns.
That's what rex and wolf and Gregor did
@@lordgaroro yes but I mean all of them like let's say 20 of them.
Bruh you just described being deployed
4:51 clones be fighting the flood
Nice detail
A geetsleys and The Front videos were both next to each other on my home page. Dual binging time!
"hot dates with their right hands"
Bruh 💀
4:43 DO I SEE FLOOD 😱😱
When you're soo early that they are only early and first comments and there is nothing funny but you can't think of anything yourself.
"The only problem with going faster than light is, is that you'll always be in the darkness"
4:50 Clones fighting the Flood lmao
Galactic Empire Stormtroopers: you guys get to personalize your armor?
First Order Stormtroopers: you guys get freedom?
Did the clones customize their armor themselves or did they have it done like professionally?? ❤️❤️❤️
Themselves!
