I really enjoyed this. The vocals were good and strong throughout, this is not an easy song to sing by any means as even Su shows sometimes live. The translations aren't perfect but apparently this is in Old Japanese so things are easily lost in translation if that's the case, the Japanese themselves sometimes aren't 100% on translation of certain things. But if the biggest moan people have about your cover is the translation then that's not too bad a thing. keep it up!

This is absolutely beautiful! You paid great homage to the original while still making it your own. I wish there were more English covers if their songs done so that they might reach a greater audience & people will realize just how amazing Babymetal is as artists. They're not just cute girls who dance & sing bubblegum metal. There's a lot more to it when you understand the lyrics.
i must say that this translation is not very correct in my opinion. on the other hand it is understandable cause the words must fit to songs melody if you wanna sing it in english. but i recommend u to check out duane metal's channel - there u can find the right translation to this and also other babymetal's songs :p

That was a very good version, and the song is super difficult. Both to sing (the lowest low is super low, I don't think you got it, but everything else was spot on) and to translate. If you are interested, I would like to offer some suggestions for the lyrics, but if not, that's fine too. I could not have produced a video of this quality, and definitely applaud your efforts.
This is what my whole channel is based around actually! I have to translate songs into singable versions. I try my best to keep as accurate to the true meaning as I can, which either is loved or hated. It's tough work, especially when someone shoots you down. But I enjoy what I do! :)

Did you look up the english lyrics. Cause there were some mistakes in there. If you go onto their website it give you the English lyrics. Like at 3:15-3:17 it says otome wa… nametara ikan zeyo and that means maidens shouldn't be underestimated
As stated in the annotations, this is just my interpretation. It will not be 100% accurate. There were quite a few different English translations to reference, but I personally chose that line because I thought it suited the idea of empowerment etc. :)

As much people would love to translate songs and sing them, the translations are either too long or short sometimes. So there will be adjustments to the translation because of this.

Rather ambitious to take on translating a song from Japanese into English. Not only does one have to preserve the meaning, but come up with something that's singable. If you are interested, I would like to offer some suggestions for the lyrics, but if not, that's fine too. I could not have produced a video of this quality, and definitely applaud your efforts.
This is what my whole channel is based around actually! I have to translate songs into singable versions. I try my best to keep as accurate to the true meaning as I can, which either is loved or hated. It's tough work, especially when someone shoots you down. But I enjoy what I do! :)

Can't say I really ever liked but this one of my better liked of there's gimme chocolate killed them for me. Love what ur doing with dubbing it always surprises me the ranges your voice can go especially when you scream and you don't have an accent at all when you sing but perhaps that's beacus I've only been a metal/scream fan for a few months and haven't lisned to that many singers

Did you look up the english lyrics. Cause there were some mistakes in there. If you go onto their website it give you the English lyrics. Like at 3:15-3:17 it says otome wa… nametara ikan zeyo and that means maidens shouldn't be underestimated
As stated in the annotations, this is just my interpretation. It will not be 100% accurate.
There were quite a few different English translations to reference, but I personally chose that line because I thought it suited the idea of empowerment etc. :)
***** It's a quotation from a Yakuza movie and uses Yakuza terminology - this knowledge should reduce the amount of freedom you take in your translation.
As much people would love to translate songs and sing them, the translations are either too long or short sometimes. So there will be adjustments to the translation because of this.
It's awesome to actually know exactly what the song is about.
