I just read a recent study in which they did autopsies and found the ink deposits in the lymph nodes.. doesn't sound good. I wonder if there's a correlation with tattoo's and cancer incidence?

    • @stevemiller4494
      @stevemiller4494 3 ปีที่แล้ว +17

That is very fascinating because the doctor told me years ago an infectious disease doctor told me that if you get a tattoo your body will continuously have an immunology response to the die so that could be overwhelming the lymphatic system or maybe the ink ends up depositing in the lymphatic system and maybe it does cause cancer.... I do know those people that go overboard with it end up usually committing suicide case in point zombie boy and the cat man..... Additionally no doubt you probably can get not only hepatitis and AIDS from it and staph infections and allergic reactions years after but additionally you can get the master virus called the Epstein-Barr virus from it..... Now the Epstein-Barr virus is a master cancer maker that generally 90% of the people in the world have this virus..... I myself have it and there's times where it exerts itself.... Meaning it comes out of its dormancy cuz generally it can be dormant for years and stress or immunological responses can bring it out and cause it to flare up so maybe those people with tattoos having continuous immunological response like that infectious disease doctor told me years ago maybe that constant heightened state of your body and having the Epstein-Barr virus can cause the cancer to come out and get busy unfortunately.... I'm so glad that I didn't end up having a tattoo 😅

Tattoos are constantly broken down over time by whit blood cells which is why they fade. As they are broken down they are circulated through the lymphatic system just like other waste. As long as they don’t clog up the lymphatic system and cause swelling in the lymph nodes, it seems that they won’t have any detrimental effect on the lymphatic system or the body as a whole.

This video is deceiving. His dry board illustration is akin to plausible deniability on his part. Not all pigments contain his stated ingredients and his “research” is essentially a ten second google search. I know parents who have better arguments against tattooing. The comments are even more foolish. Getting a tattoo is a personal choice. Your opinions on the subject matter if you don’t have one are not only from a place of inexperience, but personal bias. And to the commenter who mused about his kidney experience, that was not the same product chemically nor structurally. That was a dye, not a core pigment in a suspension or carrier.
Finally, in regard to the sterilization suggestion, he forgot to mention EO GAS sterilization methods used by manufacturers selling pre-sterilized, disposable equipment.
Perhaps consulting a credible practitioner would have been a good idea before making incomplete content.

Idk, There's people who are 80 years and are tatted every where and they're just fine. The science is so vague and doesn't actually say anything. There might be a allergic reaction and there might be heavy metals? Ok, make sure you're not allergic and make sure the ink doesn't have those metals. So its safe now? ...

Tattoos fade away because your immune system is removing them... Laser treatments can break the ink into smaller particles which helps the cells to take away the ink... Also, having tattoos is the same as having open wounds, which means your immune system will be working extra hours until you die.

Another fact is missing: Tattoo paint pigments are foreign structures for the immune system. You will live in a permanent state of inflammation, because the immune system will react to the pigments and try to break them down. The color actually ends up in the lymph nodes and does whatever there. You can also develop allergies and auto immune disorders.

Exactly! Actually, what is holding your ink and making it visible are your antibodies trying to keep it in your skin to prevent it to enter your body, but with time, your antibodies can’t do it successfully, that’s why tattoos fade with time, which means that this same ink is inside of your body and creates a mess. One thing that’s worse then getting a tattoo is to get laser removal as laser basically burns your antibodies that are holding an ink, so, it gets into other parts of your body. Definitely bad idea!

Your immune system is constantly working whether you have a tattoo or not. The added tattoo add very little compared to what your immune system has to fight constantly, it’s extremely unlikely to cause any type of chronic immune system issues and when it does it’s usually because something was wrong in the process or the person was already extremely vulnerable. Semi-permanent make-up ink is prepared in laboratories and is pharmaceutical grade. However, it should only ever be bought from a reputable company who specialise in SPMU.
A truly reputable SPMU artist uses only disposable needles, which are disposed of in a Sharps box immediately after use. In the UK we are inspected for hygiene practices, have to have a personal needle license and the premises we work from also has to have a license. These are issued by local councils following a full inspection by an Environmental Health Officer.

@@devinreed5725 How tattoo removal works is because tattoo ink needs to be heated at very high temperatures to shatter, yet high temperatures usually cause skin to scar. Astanza laser systems feature a sophisticated technology, Q-switching, that effectively breaks down ink without scarring.
Astanza Q-switched laser systems feature amazingly short laser pulses that only last for nanoseconds (billionths of a second).
Because the laser pulse is so brief, the power is high enough to shatter the ink. But, because the energy is in the skin for such a short period of time, there is no risk of damage to the skin.

I am a visual artist and several people have asked me will I design their tattoos and also ask "Do you have any tattoos?" I have zero tattoos and I didn't know how to express why I didn't want them, for I did not want to sound rude, prudish and condescending. I also had this fear of the ink seeping into my blood stream, or a worry that if I got one, would my skin be able to be nourished by the sun rays? I was also worried about the inks. I didn't take the time out to research about the risks of tattoos because I didn't want to get one. This video has sparked my interest in doing more research about it and also finding alternatives that are healthier for the body but with the same artistry.

I've always felt that non-tattooed people are the most judgmental people that I meet. This comment section has not changed my opinion at all.

haha facts i can just picture most the people behind these comments being middle aged, white, american women, having nothing better to do than to give their unwanted opinion about tattoos, who will now use this video in their next anti-tattoo argument

@@skuntalar3470 it’s hard to argue with ignorance. Im not old or middle aged. Im 24 but im educated enough to not want to risk my life for the sake of following a trend. Tattooed ppl remind me of high school kids that model their lives based on what rappers say in their songs instead of using their own minds to make life decisions for themselves. Like the kids that do drugs and brag about it and then call ppl like me boring lol

The trouble with opinions it’s like arse holes everybody has one tattoo studios are not required to have auto claves as some studios run complete disposable products and single use equipment I suggest you stick to what you no and not what you think you no as facts
