I have a theory though that the Clark Kent we saw there is actually the New 52 version brought back due to the presence of the pre new 52 superman and whatever Dr. Manhattan is doing. He has no powers but I feel like Rebirth will end with both Supermen merging giving us the rebirth Superman who fits into the new timeline.

Rebirth isn't a reset, it's a change to the status quo. The return of Wally West also marks the return of positivity in this earth. Clark White got on this earth due to an event called Convergence, and they're currently explaining the second Clark Kent's storyline.
All previous incarnations of Superman except the New 52 Superman are alive in their respective multiverse thanks to 2015's Convergence event, which restored pretty much everything... but the pre-Flashpoint/post-Crisis Superman found himself in the New 52 universe.
At the end of Convergence, the Superman that fought during Inifinite Crisis survived thanks to Brainiac. Brainiac had to return him and Supergirl to restore time itself. And Wally West Flash knowing that it could be there deaths. Hal Jordan Parallax as well went back to his time during the Zero Hour. But somehow they're alive, and Wally West returned, as well as Prime Superman, and Hal Jordan Parallax.

i was around for the original and was all set to be pissed off, i literally said to myself 'money for old rope." boy was I blown away though, they proved me wrong, this was a fantastic take on the story. now i'm hoping that the hooded figure is Time Trapper.
I have a few questions:
Does Clark White wear a fake beard? Is the old superman stronger than new 52 superman? Is Clark white older than Clark Kent?
Clark White's beard was real, but he shaved it with his heat vision. Old Superman and New 52 Superman are about same strength-wise but old superman has more experience. And Clark White is older than Clark Kent.
I believe 52 supes is stronger just because of his super flare ability other than that both are equal.

I really feel that Lex Luthor would have been a great Superman. Unfortunately, the status quo in comics is always maintained, which means that Lex had to go back to being a villain. I feel that comics could be much cooler if they actually allowed for change.

I got 3 theories on the identity of the new Clark Kent:
A) He's Clark Kent from another universe who was brought over during Convergence.
B) He's New 52 Superman who (after somehow surviving his death) lost all his powers AGAIN and is pretending to be a normal, human Clark Kent.
C) He's someone Lex hired to pose as Clark Kent in order to preserve his identity.
