Then word problems be like: If Billy has 3 cookies and then gives half to John, calculate the number of bananas that can fit in a toaster on Jupiter, if the wind is 12 MPH, in Eastern Russia.
According to my calculations and the BUCK method just explained the answer would be 2 bananas 🍌. What we are trying to find out is the number of bananas that can fit in a toaster (common household appliance with 2 slots). Toasters are meant for 2 bread loaves but that is only a partial answer like the one for the first proportion problem. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system but only about 2.4 times that of the surface gravity on earth because it is mainly made up of “gases”. Assuming we are talking about your ordinary household banana sold in the grocery stores which is the cavendish variety and only weighs about 180.56g and we could “fit” or fill in the toasters (not someone (human) who proposes a toast) volume (amount of space that is enclosed within the container) is made up of stainless steel and has dimensions of 10”X8”X9” (includes no added features like auto shut off, cool to the touch, etc.) would fit approximately 10 bananas rounded up to the nearest 10th. This is why the answer to the t-shirt question is actually 1,512. Because 504X3=1,512
FYI: You missed a step in your answer. The question was how many t-shirts are sold in a week. You calculated the amount if only one t-shirt was sold every 10 minutes. The problem stated that 3 t-shirts were sold every 10 minutes, not 1.

Thank you. It was very useful. Who didn't know or wasn't one of these "oh, this is so hard, I can never do it" people at school? How did I solve the first problem? It's quite easy then: 12 hours per day x60 minutes x 7 = 5040 minutes or 84 hours per week. And then we have 3 t-shirts per 10 minutes, so we have 3x60/10=18 t-shirts per hour and that you multiply with the hours per week. Yepp, very helpful to cross out the information you don't need. 2nd problem I did it with this 100%=80, 80=? So 80x80/100=64. Yes, of course it is way easier to do it like you did, or one could even say: 20% is 1/5, therefore, 16 out of 80, and then we have 64. But I used the safe way.

since 3 shrts are sold every 10 minutes we have to multiply 504 by 3 = 1512
exactly!

happy to hear that (-;
Noice! This is helpful my friend
yes
Or you could just multiply $80.00 X 80% since you are paying 80% of the price, and you don't have to subtract a number etc... 80 x .8 = 64
Your very smart,but very confusing.
@@JazzyG144 How doesn't this make sense?
Im stupid in math so i dont understand
wew! i was kinda confuse also with the 1st question thats why I immediately looked for the comments. and now im relieved. aheheh. kinda helpful. thx for the BUCK.
+paw lopez the correction is at 4:01 -- sorry for the confusion
it did not help me
+Ganga Harrylal Yeah
I thought I'd gone nuts thinking 1,512 was incorrect. 3/10 x 60=18Ts
you are correct the correction is in the BUCK System video--thank you
Thankyou very much °I PAST THE TEST° I learn a lot from you
i sort of still dont get it
Rise me too
3 shirts every 10 mins. Max amount per hour is 18. Then 18x12. Then 216 x 7
Risebut
rekha Haq guggi
@@Fireisout555 stop at 4:03 and it's says a t shirt sold every 10 minus instead of 3 t-shirts sold every 10 minus so the answer will be 720/3.333333 =216 then × 7 which equals 1,512 shirts
Great job 👍
It says "Three t-shirt every 10 minutes" so it's 1512 T-shirts in a week.
this is sooo helpful! i got an ES (exceeding standard) on my math test and my parents are very proud!! :)
I don't get it! I'm dumb at math! Word problems in my coutry are more harder than this
Can you please give me some more points to I'm not good at it
In Grenada
Do I have to pay for it
@@creativeminds5066 you dont ask that on youtube like that
