I bothers me so much that in the ride the king says “Rule 42-the Queen always wins!” That’s not what rule 42 is. Lol. Rule 42 states that all persons more than a mile high must leave the court immediately.
I don't believe it has been refurbished, just closed to fix whatever was wrong with the building. It's not in very good shape at all. Door stuck open, the mad tea party scene appears to be broken with no animatronics moving at all and and the fireworks above the birthday cake didn't go off, the timings are off all around and there's vines growing through the leaf decorations on the outside part.
The door was just stuck open that specific day, cuz there another video where it wasnt. And there was a delay cuz the vehicle were too close to each other that's why there was a sudden stop at the tea party which the signals didn't function due to that
Nothing better than being deposited on a leaf outside and watching the parade going on below. One of my very favorite rides, and I'm so happy we have it here in CA. It helps make Disneyland different and special.
I feel like most of the audio cues were either late or the car was going too fast that you miss the scenes. Also as others notice the door was left open in the beginning. Tbh doesn’t really looked like it got refurbished.
Doesn’t look like anything refurbished at all. They probably just did whatever they were doing to the utilities for the common building that shares Alice in Wonderland.
I have never commented on a TH-cam video but for some reason this really struck a nerve!What the hell is happening to this company!! How can you close a ride for a refurb and not fix basic problems. Those are not even complicated fixes! It’s a door and a cards moving arm! I was so upset about the possibility of selling the company to Apple but maybe they take more pride in their product than current Disney management.
It was a short refurbishment that wasnt meant to be a big long refurbishment to fix the ride, all 3 dark rides share a building so they likely closed due to a building maintenance and it was a new paint job. The door was just opened for that specific day.

At the very least all the Catapillas shoes are back on top of the mushroom! When I went last summer it looked kinda rough, it’s the sort of small thing I’d notice that wouldn’t bother others so at the very least that’s back!

Far and away my favorite of the old school style Fantasyland dark rides. And, to date, the only ride I’ve gotten an in-show exit on!
