Well done with the filming on this vid by your son - he cant have been very old when this was done and its all to a really excellent standard. What an enjoyable apprenticeship you have provided him with I've got to say this is far & away the best Fishing channel on TH-cam.. .to be honest I could see these being aired as ' proper Television programmes' no trouble -and being extremely popular at that
Totally Awesome Fishing is truly a show made for fishermen. Thank you for making your show and for posting them on youtube. They are very entertaining and interesting. I particularly love that you go into such great detail in regards to fishing techniques, rigging, tackle, presentation, etc. You have an impressive amount of knowledge of a wide variety of species, and thank you for sharing it with the world.
Thanks! Really appreciate it! We have tried TV but there is no budget for it, so we thought screw it, we'll do things our own way! We will be making full length feature DVD's for you guys, keep up to date with us on our facebook group, the link is in the description. T/A Crew
I would look at our video on chumming. If you can get some chum in the water you will attract lots of smaller fish and the Cuda won't be far behind. I would leger a ballyhoo on the bottom, right where the chum goes in.Use at least number 8 wire, about 3 feet long, and a couple of small, triple strength trebles. Watch those teeth when you unhook it.You should get chum, and a mesh bag from one of the tackle shops.Hang it over the pier on a rope and let it wash about.Livebaits are good as well
another fine show sir ! , im wondering if you "ve got any old vids from your marlin cup days ? oh yes mate i remember them.. also agree with coment from flamesfromblazer ..
I really enjoyed your barracuda fishing video real inspiration , I am planing a trip to Cuba to try my hand at trolling for barracuda using a small sailing hobbie cat a penn 6ft 30lb power stick and a multiplier reel loaded with 40lb braid . My question is would I need a mono trace or could I use a wire trace straight to the braid ? The water in Cuba is very clear and not so deep with few snags Any suggestion would be great Andy
totalllllllllllly awesome big fan of your videos and learned alot so far very keen fisherman = 8pm till 3am every night 3 months over fall out of my standing with tiredness but when they say ur hooked on somthing im hooked lit.... wud love to see more about bass fishing and trout......im catching a serious amount of trout with me own set up but wud like to learn more "DONT WE ALL" but look foward to a response tight lines ...........................
Hi, Barracuda is my favorite fishing and eating fish, I have tried desperately to get one but never hooked one. I live in Florida, Tampa, and mostly fish of piers or beach. Where do i have to go or what do i have to do to get one??? Thanks
I live in Florida in Miami i caught my first one when i was 9 no lie use shrimp and let it sink down to the bottom where they feed and be patient. Once they take it hook him/her then let him/her run off once they stop reel in and do this till you catch em. To bad my first barracuda i caught i couldn't eat cause my asswipe brother used it as sharkbait.
I have the first 2013 topwater film type "6lb barracuda on 6lb test" dats me! caught mine on a streamer lure, they sure love their topwater! steady retreive while twiching the bait works for me can't believe how it swallowed that tube! must of been a female haha!
im going barracuda fishing tomorrow for the first time this video gave me a lot of tips and i want to have a fishing team when i grow up. right know on my channel CDH Youth Fishing i just have a couple of videos but if you guys could check it out i would appretiate it thanks and happy new year!!!
These vintage episodes are a breath of fresh air!

is it a toxic fish ?
Youssef Tarek No
Dynomite!!!!
what's with the Australian accent pullen? lol
ballywho == Garfish in Australia.
2 completely different species. Ballyhoo is a bait fish, and gets to be around 1/4 lb max. Garfish get to be up to 20 odd lbs.
fucking awesome!!
cudas are slimy as hell
