So this is me installing a gt35 turbo onto my om603 mercedes turbodiesel. This was quite the challenge. A lot of custom work but man was it worth it.

Great turbo build. Wish you could have shown how you fabricated your exhaust manifold/pipe. Curious how this turbo will do coupled with a dieselpumpUK pump in there. You should get some dyno before/after numbers

How did you polish valve cover and intake manifoil while it was on the car?
Did you use a metal polish or did you just wetsand it?
Hey man what is on it or can you just instal a big turbo on it without upgrading anything but if anything is on it to make sure it’s safe to put in the big turbo can you tell me what are the parts names and if possible provide links thank you much appreciated

This is too rad! Awesome work man. Didn't like the first turbo brace? Or was it just for mock up anyways? Either way the new one is really cool! Wish we could see a shed skid. ;)
First turbo brace was a little too big to work with an oil drain, a little ugly too. So we'll just say I used that for mockup lol. Burnouts soon...

Nice. But you should get an oil catch can instead of having the pcv connected directly to the air filter. You may have a bunch of oil going into the turbo with your current set up.
I'll probably add one soon. I pulled the air filter off a couple times to check and it looks clean.

Have an 86 300sdl with the om 603 in it and I can’t find that exhaust flex piece that goes between the manifold anywhere, any chance you have a link or something? Mine is cracked as well
I found mine on ebay from someone who had 1 sitting in their garage. These can be very hard to find. I just checked and there are none for sale on ebay. Keep searching and eventually you'll get lucky.

Dude awesome content man!! Love these old mercs. Question, why didn’t you just delete the pcv valve and run it to the atmosphere instead of putting it back into the intake?
Thanks. It's healthier to have the crankcase under vacuum in my opinion. Yeah it's a little dirtier but this engine has 220,000 miles and I feel like without a pcv I might start pushing out some of the old gaskets. If this was a fresh motor yeah I would just have a catch can with some breathers and some AN fittings on the valve cover.
@@wideband thanks! That makes sense, the older an engine the more blow by and if the blow by gets stuck in the crankcase it could be hard on stuff.

I got lucky and found mine on ebay. Someone had a couple new old stock ones. They are a little hard to find.

Can you tell me what wheel spacers fit this car?
This 66.6 66.56 confusion is driving me nuts do I need adapters??
When I run aftermarket rims on this car I use 5x110mm/5x112mm to 5x112mm adapters. 1.25 inches wide. That was so I could run 5x112 bolt pattern rims.
Yeah I used the adapters as spacers, stock bolt pattern is 5x112 I had 5x112 rims that needed a spacer so I bought adapters.
What’s the hub bore up front do you know?

Yes, I want to upgrade that soon but it's expensive. So far mine just has ALDA deleted for the smoke and throttle response.
