Any idea why im not able to use my DLC content i bought? i tried restarting steam and everything, but i still cant use any of the weapons unless i unlock them
because you still need to get to the level to use them :/

jordan matchett Arma doesnt have any level system.. U may mean something like king of the kill etc.

Arma is good game when we consider reality. But overall lack of cinematic character animation, cutscenes.
I think we can do without cut scenes.
I love the sniper part tho 💥
The spmg is the best sniper. A 338 lmg with Max carry of 510 rounds.

He was not a sniper. Sniper is the one who is equipped with a SR with at least 1500 m range. This man was possibly a sharpshooter.

I’m new to ARMA3 and pc games all together. I’ve recently purchased ARMA3 and the marksmen dlc and I can’t seem to be able to use them in the campaign or don’t know how to, could you give me a lil info on what to do plz pal thanks 🇬🇧👍

Why do they keep saying "free update"? Last time I checked those are features that should have been here since beta.
XmarcX92 the mechanics are free and updated for everybody. you just don't get the few extra niche weapons and swamp-monster suits.

I get the stuff like Apex and kinda get the Jets DLC, but this and the helicopters DLC? Shouldn't it be free? I mean the helo DLC just adds like 2 helos and nothing more and costs 10 bucks and the marksmen stuff should already be included in the non premium version, because the game on its own is quite expensive. Don't get me wrong, it's my favourite game right now and I am planning on buying the jets DLC, but some DLCs don't really make sense.

To not give a snide comment, the dlc included firing from vehicles and a bunch of other shit, but their new business model is to give all the more sandboxy/ improvements for free and you only pay for the actual equipment. Arma 3 at launch was completely barebones, but the new dlc model has really helped the game.
Dude the DLCs come with free platform updates like mechanics and props that are accessible even to those who do not buy the DLCs. The DLCs only provide premium equipment which doesn’t really give more sandbox experience than the vanilla assets it’s just an easy way to give back to the developers without them setting up like patreon or something since steam is already a convenient place for transactions

They all have their uses, the MK1 is good, the Cyrus is good, the MAR-10 is good, the APS is good for certain situations, since it's a stealth weapon, the SPMG is fucking amazing.

The ASP is pretty good for the sneaky fellas.

You have the guns, it's just the server that restricts their use to money and level.
3PiC 2.9 Channel TM It requests the ingame money, not real money. You have to play on the server to get the money.

Epic fail to use bipods on the guns you have to pay for them some non dlc guns have bipods on them that don't work unless you pay. ever since this game was in early access some guns had bipods but never worked and now to use them we have to pay for them.
Every vanilla weapon that has bipods on it can use it without buying the dlc.
Only to use bipods on weapons that are not initially with bipods (such as MX, MXC, MXM, Trg, etc.) You have to posess the dlc.
Lynx, Mk200, MX SW, etc. can use bipods with new free platform update
Bruh I know this is old but the bipod are free platform update only the guns and special scopes and ghillie suits are paid
