Because of you, I started to play Minecraft again after losing interest in it for a while. I'm actually building an underground city with my own lore in mind. I may not be that good at building, but I'm trying.
Duuuuude that’s awesome!! I found it hard to transition from game progression to building once I had an elytra and such but just focus on small projects and build towards an ultimate goal! You got this!!

I also do this, mindless mining (it gives some relaxation though). But to know it could be done with 3 clicks in mcedit instead of 6 months mining, 14 days straight. I sometimes wonder why we do it :D

Awesome Stuff!! I am also doing a dwarven hall with little halls to the side and the back of the main hall and a massive entrance! has a footprint of roughly 200x300 blocks once its all finished :)) Its where my main storage of my survival world will be. i have the redstone in already to sort every single stackable in the game. works like a charm. i already did the entrance and the a big part of the floor in the main hall. i also have the shape of the main hall finished with wool. "just" need to texture it and then i can start with the side halls and back hall. i think since i dont have too much time for it, i will be at it for the next 2 years. i also have build a completely custom mountain covering all of the footprint and tnt'ed a 200x150 area under the mountain to y=0 to give me some more space. the mountain isnt texture yet aswell.
I need to start my storage area lol! 1500 days and still living out of randoms chests 😂 but it sounds like you’ve got a heck of a base going on bud! Glad to hear it and thanks for watching 🫶🥹
@@itsmemikeyt ye it helps :'D i can just empty my whole inventory, when i finished another section and i dont need to worry about sorting. i recommend to do tons of simple impulse sv sorters and chain them together. those minecart multiitemsorter always make problems after running for a while. i can send you a schematic of my system if you want.

I love this series so much and it has given me so much inspiration, with that being said I know how much you talk about adding life to the plain stony build and nothing does that better than changing the color palette you could add wayyyyy more carts and even things like barrels and crates lamp posts wheelbarrows and much more adding wooden things will make it feel really cool and bustling. I also love your idea of the ore carts on the ceiling that is something that reminds me of erebor and is something that I have been trying to accomplish in my own build so I think the ore carts would look insanely cool. As always keep building these amazing builds and thanks for the videos!!

Hi Viking ☺️ sorry it take me a short while to reply 😁 I study lots of different sources. Artists drawings, other games, or just googling ‘dwarf building’ and taking inspiration from the bits I like I then tend to try experiment with texture and colour as Minecraft is a block game so building the exact shapes you want can be difficult I’m still learning to build better so it’s not always perfect but it’s a process ☺️

I like your vibe, i have missed many episodes from the series and I could follow easily what was going on. Although, there is always room for improvement it's like embedded in the existence or something, edits and script can be tighter, ptojects bigger, but maybe the essential is to enjoy what you're doing and I think you got that covered well
That’s just replay mod - it’s used for the Timelapse’s etc I dont think I can hide this as it’s useful for knowing when my Timelapse is paused v recording 😄 thanks for spotting it though
You need minihud for the light overlay so you easy can see the light level on each block.. Then u need to use glow lichen, especially if you want an area a little more dungeon-Ish, but still dont want mobs to spawn!! 👍🏼

Arguably … shields are more OP than totems imo The only time they aren’t is fall damage but making sure you have a bucket of water pre elytra is a must It’s hard but it’s not too hard imo 🥹💪 But I am getting a totem simply to say I have one hehe

That last bit you added on the top really made a difference and the entrance is looking really beautiful. As for the video structures, it would be helpful to focus on one project every video, but I also understand that these are massive projects and you're not a full time youtuber. So do what you need to do. But maybe a quick tour video of the entire world could help.
I did try do that project per video idea before but I found it stressful if I didn’t get time to finish it then I felt like I couldn’t upload it as a ‘completed project’ I ended up with a lot of unfinished things hehe 🥹

Just discovered this and it's amazing. Big fan of your editing style and even more for your building style. I noticed you have an issue with your shaders not rendering properly with the bushy leaves resource pack, this can be fixed by going into the shader pack settings > performance settings and setting shadow sample quality to high.
What is the purpose of stripping the logs on the floor and then picking them back up, just to place them? I see people do this quite often. I always put them where I want them in my build and then strip them in their final position.
I'm doing it so people can see the colour & because I've barely used stripped logs I like to see what im working with aha, I can't speak for any other creators tho :3
@@itsmemikeyt Ah I see. I had followed someone else who thought they had to place them, strip them, re-chop them, and then finally place them in the build. I have thought of making some sort of underground kingdom. It is WAAAAAAAY harder than you make it look.

@@ozzmosistrostle4742 yeah so everyone who bought Java version also got a separate bedrock version on the launcher so we can play bedrock too. There’s not a massive difference in gameplay other than a few things like the wither is harder on bedrock so I’m told Some game mechanics are different on bedrock too such as the way villagers work with making iron farms etc.
@@itsmemikeyt oh alright that's cool ya from what I can tell the hit box on the bedrock wither is a bit weird compared to the java wither and the wither affect from the bedrock wither last longer than the java wither and also has double the health but you'd have to try and fight it to fully understand how it works and supposedly almost all farms from java don't work on bedrock and farms don't work on the nether roof in bedrock but that's all I really know but amazing content and keep up the good work sorry for the long message

For pathways dried coral blocks work pretty well with the majority of the stone. Just food for thought, either way I love the build!

@@ozzmosistrostle4742 yeah so everyone who bought Java version also got a separate bedrock version on the launcher so we can play bedrock too. There’s not a massive difference in gameplay other than a few things like the wither is harder on bedrock so I’m told
Some game mechanics are different on bedrock too such as the way villagers work with making iron farms etc.
@@itsmemikeyt oh alright that's cool ya from what I can tell the hit box on the bedrock wither is a bit weird compared to the java wither and the wither affect from the bedrock wither last longer than the java wither and also has double the health but you'd have to try and fight it to fully understand how it works and supposedly almost all farms from java don't work on bedrock and farms don't work on the nether roof in bedrock but that's all I really know but amazing content and keep up the good work sorry for the long message
