Im writing my IGCSE exams soon and im struggling with extended maths but I heard about your channel from my friend, and your videos seem very helpful :)
Thanks, this gives me a clear idea on differentiation ques. Can you pls do another video for percentages ques? **Especially the one involve successive percentage scenario. 😊🙏
At 4:21, after finding that x is either equal to 0 or 2. Why didn't you substitute those values into the first derivative Why do you need to find x with first derivative and then substitute in second derivative?
Mr Ginger could you pls help me in this question and other questions like this? (from 0580/43 Paper 4 (Extended) October/November 2023) Question : 7(part d) Thank you.
My maths paper 4 is in 2 days. Should i know what a second derivative is? My teachers never taught us it and just told us to put the x,y coordinates into the original function.
Hey! For the second part regarding the turning points, when we alrdy have the dy/dx and then we found the values of x which were 0 and 2, shouldn’t we put them in the main equation which is y = x^3 -3x^2? Pls reply

Use the second derivative to determine if it's a maximum or minimum

Can you do IGCSE Edexcel Math B Paper 2 for May 2024 next 🙏🏻
See what I can do!
Can you go throught vectors strategies for diificult levels. It can also include vectors and ratio
For sure Fatima, let's see how this video does first :-)
are points always given with tangents to find equation?
Yep 👍

To find the y coordinates?
how does negative mean “max” and positive mean “min”? pls answer fast my exam is in 2 hours
because maximum has to be less than 0, minimum is greater than 0
@@ElectrossHD bro but that’s my question, less than 0 means it’s low meaning min so how is it max?
@@ElectrossHD but ty for the help
@@fearnone0.o don’t bother as to why lol, just know it’s maximum when it’s 0 >
@@ElectrossHD alr bro ty
my exam is tmrw and im really bad with maths
