This is the kind of technology I would love to invest in and see grow exponentially. This has potential not just for grid power but for power generation in space industries like NASA and SpaceX. This could be the hybrid engine for vehicles that is needed for range extension. This could be used in so many ways....
I don't buy the theory that linear generator is in any way more efficient than rotary types. A horse (for horsepower) that runs around in a circular track is much more efficient than a horse that runs a straight short track back and forth. So it's misleading to say linear is more efficient than rotation because a horse running a straight line is more efficient than having to constantly running slightly tilted to the curve of a circular track. The straight line horse doesn't just run in a straight line endlessly, the horse has to constantly go back and forth, stop and go, reversing direction everytime.
