Whoa! That Amoco is still there? I used to live around the corner from there. I haven't been back to St. Louis is over 20 years. Your videos bring back a ton of nostalgia

This video brings back great memories. Every summer I would take swimming lessons at Fontbonne College (then) and travel down Skinker and Wydown. The view brings back many memories and it is great to see that much has remained -largely the same but many improvements have been made. Love that Forest Park has been renovated along with the Missouri Historical Society. Never knew the location of the Ferris wheel from the fair. Interesting fact about the MUNY. Never knew Walter Cronkite was there. What show was he in? I do remember my neighbors when we lived by Tower Grove Park would get out early to the Muny to sit in the free seats to see a show. Thanks so much for posting!

Thanks so much for watching and the comment. It's very good to hear from you! Thanks so much for the support. I wouldn't have gotten this far without you! I went by Fontbonne in the last video I did on the East side of Clayton. So then I decided to do this neighborhood in the city which is next to it. Walter Cronkite was the narrator of Richard Rodgers: A Man and his Music in 1980. Yes, Forest Park is as beautiful as ever. It's still amazing to me.

People not giving St.Louis it’s beauty of a state, this is a beautiful place let’s take away the crime ridden neighborhoods and have rule and regulations. I will always love this city. Thank you for work you do.😊😊😊😊🤩🤩🤩😍😍

That Metrolink Train is so nice! When I flew to Vegas from Lambert, I parked my car at Scott Air Force Base for free and paid a whopping $2.50 each way to go to the airport. A lot cheaper that way than paying for parking daily.

Thanks for The Tour. That Amico Sign reminds of when my sister and I used to pass it to go to the Esquire Theater. 😊

St. Louis needs an NFL team again! That city definitely supports NFL Football more than Jacksonville does and a much bigger market than at least 10 cities that has a team. The only reason why attendance was bad because the team was bad!! It’s a no brainer every team is that way!!
