Thanks for the tour. I used to lived in Syracuse back in the days, I use to go to this mall every weekend. The mall used to be called "Carousel mall" and at the time when I left Syracuse, I heard the mall was going to remodel and become a bigger mall than Mall of AMerica.
This mall is busy when it's busy and really dead when it's dead. And it's way more dead than it is busy, usually only busy when school is on vacation. There's occasionally shootings randomly, they have recently stepped of some security but that never seems to last long. There's a lot of big stores leaving there now. It's days are numbered even tho it is massive
@@carolmowat699 we had a spare day having been in Utica and as a Brit we just weren’t prepared for its size and what it could offer. If that was in England I’ve no doubt it would be packed out every day every week. I am very scared of heights so the canyon climb was never happening 😀
It is way too big for Syracuse. Between that and the gunfire or parking lot carjackings every few months you'll find it usually feels relatively empty. All the high end shops are closing and being replaced with the likes of the insidious Hobby Lobby.
