Burnie and the North West in general is often under rated by both southern Tasmanians and visitors. It is just about my favorite area to visit with so much diversity between the settlements there as well good scenery. To travel by bus is easy with the North West express Devonport to Burnie a great bus route and journey. Cheers Pete
Yes a long shift for both the driver that starts in hobart drives to Devonport and returns. Likewise for the driver starting in Devonport driving to Hobart and back. I guess it is the most cost effective way to ensure there is two services on weekend days instead of just the one which we had before 2019.
I wonder how often this happens. Usually on weekdays the bus that starts in hobart runs all the way through to Devonport with a change of driver at Launceston. On the weekends both the bus and driver from hobart go through to Devonport. If anyone has different info let me know. Cheers Pete
Nicely made as always, Burnie is a very nice place

Are buses pet friendly???
I dont think you can take pets on buses in Tasmania but I would check with the the bus operators if you have a special need. Thanks Pete
