@@dezs-diary thank you for sharing your process as well. I used to love reading. But school took too much of my time that I hardly had time to read. Finance/accounting books are no fun….at all. After graduating and starting work, I finally had time to read but I just feel like everything I read is just lost. I watched a lot of videos about reading journals, how to take notes, but after your video, I just feel more hopeful about loving books once again. ☺️
What a great journal! I keep one too but only use it when I finish a book but I really like this method of taking notes throughout the whole reading experience. Low barrier to entry is definitely important and this seems like a really effective and clean system!
I absolutely love this idea! I have major ADHD so I definitely forget a book after a year and I even sometimes forget things from the beginning if I’m reading a long book🤦🏻♀️. This seems like a great idea for me to keep all my thoughts in one place.
❤️📚 A very nice journal! I made my very first reading journal this year, and I've kept up in it ...but, I've definitely learned from it. Next year it will be a lot less complicated! 😊
Hi Dez! This is wonderful! I really like the monthly spreads. I find snapshots really fun to look at. I’ve been reading a bit more and sometimes I frantically try to finish what I’m reading because I don’t want to forget what I’m reading. lol! I do the same with tv series and anime.. but then I get to a point where I’m overwhelmed and bored. I feel like other reading journals I’ve seen focus on finishing books and then I focus on completing a book instead of enjoying the journey regardless if I finish the entire book. Thanks for sharing!! This feels like a much more motivating and accessible way to enjoy stories. 😊
Oh yeah, I totally get that! I’ve been reading lots for a few years now, and I feel like this is the best I’ve been able to remember things! And I love that you pointed out that it’s less about finishing a book and more about enjoying the stories, that’s such a good way to look at it 🥰
I had a discarded weeks that i was feeling guilty not using so I began using it for reading notes, however, i really don't like that it's dated. After watching your video I added a hobonichi A6 notebook to my system (that really cute notebook with the cats peeking behind the door, you know the one). I will use that as my reading notebook.
Oooh I love that cats notebook, it is so cute! Ironically enough, I'm also trying out a weeks as a reading/hobbies journal right now 😂 But I totally see why the dated aspect doesn't always work great. I hope the little reading notebook is working for you! ❤️
A wonderful journal, very practical and simple. Love it!
i love this idea, i have a few unused notebooks i will repurpose to do this
Ooh yes of course! I hope it works for you 🫶
5 minutes into the video and I already love your system. ❤
Aw that’s so nice to hear, thank you! ♥️

Thank you so much! I’ve definitely done some trial and error and this seems to help me the most out of anything else I’ve tried ☺️
Yes, please do a video of how you fill out the book review... Excited!!!!
Ooh yay, okay! I’ll get on that 🥰

Yes yes yes! I totally feel that. And it’s so simple that you can adapt it to whatever works best for you ☺️
@@dezs-diary i’ve been doing it consistently for the last month and I absolutely love it. And I’ve been reading more too! I love it!
I totally agree I just got my mini composition book to start this so I don’t forget what I am reading .. thank you for sharing 😊

Thank you! ♥️ And nice job keeping up with yours, it can be so hard to do! I have to make mine as simple as possible for me to keep up 🙈😂
@@dezs-diary I understand completely. Next year will be better for me. 😃🤞
