I would love you to make a video about the quilting option. Settings and so on on different sorts of machinequilting and an in depth talk about needles and how to best use the quilting feet and a rulerfoot on this machine. I have had troubles with a broken thread and think I found out that the Janome quilting-needle (ORGAN) worked best. I am not a beginner.
Hi Pip: That sounds like several videos for sure. I will put these on my video to do list. I do intend to do more videos about using rulers on a domestic machine, but am waiting to see what Janome releases to use as a ruler foot on the 9400. The existing free motion frame quilting set and "ruler" foot that I use on my Janome 8900 won't work on the 9400, so waiting to see how I can use rulers with my Janome 9400. I do think that the right needle makes a huge difference.
Hi Rob: It depends on what I'm doing. I sometimes change the length of my stitch if I'm piecing and I, of course, have to adjust the length and/or width of the zigzag stitch if I want it to form a satin stitch. I find that most of the decorative stitches are okay as they are set to the optimal length/width to form the stitch the best. If I alter the width or length, sometimes the stitch isn't recognizable as what it is supposed to be.
Hi Marie: Unfortunately I don't do videos for that machine as I'm not familiar with it. Have you tried searching for a Facebook group? I belong to one on the Janome 9400, so perhaps there is one for the 7700.
Thank you Kim 🧡
Fantastic! Thank you so much! I wondered what that M & R meant. And I had no idea it had that cornering option on appliqué. Love your videos
Great job, Kim! Thank you!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching :)
Thanks for another great video on my machine Kim! :) Another favourited video :)
Great info, thanks so much it is so helpful and it is easy to forget all those extra options, as usual I learnt some new stuff from you
Thanks for watching. I'm glad that I was able to provide you with some new information :)

Another fantastic video. Thank you. Question. Do you have to adjust most of your stitches different from default before using?
