I am long-term sick and my quality of life is hell; every cell in my body is hell. I have worked part-time from home (even working from my bed) but even that got too much for me. I got ill in 1982 and took easier and easier work for less pay. Even today my income is less than I was earning in 1982 (not adjusting for inflation). Any spare penny social services take off us for the care we need in our homes to stay alive...our disability benefits are going back to local councils. I hope people don't take their eyes off the real suffering behind the figures.

If it was not for all these EXTRA unwanted, unasked for expenses foisted on us without even letting us know what they are doing to our Country THINK for heavens sake how far along and comfortable we would now be. There would not be all this hardship and misery and killings.
I normally love Julia, but her comments today on people should not be retiring I did think was disgusting. I personally have given up holidays, spending etc all my life and saved hard to retire at 60. Julia spends some of her time on holiday, that’s her choice and I gave that up to save and retire. Why should I pay for everyone else to do the opposite of me! I am shocked Julia commented on this! I have watched her show everyday for a long time but I shall not be watching her again!
I was put on antidepressants about 7 years ago and told i would be on them for life, I don’t feel i need them but the GP won’t touch them, I do have epilepsy and a straight spine though

Best you stick to taking your meds. Many mentally ill people think they don't need it anymore and stop taking it. That is when they go off the rails.
