Ah, Kalinka, a Slavic classic standard...if you have never travelled in Russia, Ukraine, etc...you have no idea how much more cultured Russian speaking countries are than USA. Music, dance, poetry, orchestra, ballet, and prose are taught from very young ages to the citizens. This dance is just a small example of how deep their culture is. I will always love Russia for who she is. My russian wife is buried outside of Moscba. One of the richest and deepest memories will always be there.

I think there is a lot of mutual appreciation to and from the people of Russia and the USA. Somehow we allow our leaders to get in the way. Thank you for sharing this with video. I went to school with a family that migrated to my home in Pennsylvania. They were poor people just like my family. We all grew up together, with each of us doing well for each other. The one girl from that family was in my classroom throughout school. She was a beautiful young girl and woman. Sadly she passed away unexpectedly two years ago when both of us reached the age of 70. After our individual first marriages ended, she and I dated for a few years, up to the day she died. She loved her homeland and yet she was thankful to her mother and father in bringing their family to Pennsylvania, USA in the late 1940s.
