Hello Mr Fish . So glad that your bindy windy route chose the B6318 to cross into Scotland . it is a very well kept secret and is in my opinion the most beautiful route over the border as the others are all main A roads. just a sweet way to sneak over and avoid passport control . There are always a few free range haggis to be heard foraging under the bridge if you listen quietly towards dusk or at dawn 🤓💯🎶🎬📽
Hey mate Bucketlist boys here... Great vlog loving it... Just got back from the states where this time we rode Harleys for a day... Season 6 coming soon lol ... Well i still have to edit season 4 and 5 first haha...Good to see you again
Great music breath taking views.before we left the uk and lived there for 44 years never been to Scotland so took the family one week tour. Was in the car so next visit to the uk hire two bikes and visit again gees the bucket list is never ending.
It is true, “You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda”. Much prefer these relaxed travel vlogs than yet another review for the latest motorcycle that I'm likely never going to buy...thanks.
Just watched episode 2 in my hotel room in Leon in Spain after having exactly the same sort of day on the bike as you had in this episode, empty, winding roads with some spectacular views and your spot on regards speed, to fast and you simply don’t see it. Keep up the infectious excitement Mr Fish cos it’s what we should all be feeling when on such trips. Stay safe. 👍👍
That looked to be a great introduction to riding in Scotland - quiet open moorland roads with some lovely scenery along the way. I look forward to your next instalment! Cheers.
Sir; you did a nice right job on this video. Props. For longer rides I finally got a Russell Day Long seat (made in California) and boy does it make a difference. Highly recommended.
Megget & Talla Reservoirs on a sunny day are spectacular as in my Video . The main thing to watch for beside the wooly ones are the logging wagons on those narrow roads
Hi epic trip 😊 never been to Scotland it defo on the list & very near the top . 9 hours on the bike that a good stretch. Your defo bike fit thats for sure . Hats off to you . Rolley :)
Big day in the saddle that mate. I love Scotland, must get back up there again sometime. Even in rubbish weather it has a beauty to it, but am glad to see you mostly stayed dry so far 🙂
Great video this country has such beautiful countryside absolutely amazing and why would you want a 200 mph bike when you can poodle around and enjoy and take all that countryside brilliant ride safe and enjoy
Love this series of videos mate. This is a superb one, the best yet. What a fantastic ride but 9 hours…phew. Scotland is amazing and you’ve inspired me to try this out on my NX. I bought one like you and downsized from a BMW 12 and I have to say, what a revelation. I now seek out the smallest little back roads I can find and even a little off road. The views and riding you had are mesmerising. Love your music scores and the way you pause the shots showing where you go through is excellent. Tell, me, it looks like you went for a bash plate, which one did you go for as I want to retain my centre stand.
Just checked it online. It looks like you can retain the centre stand. Is that right? Also do you fit it as I’ve heard the frame can be a bigger to pull it back inline when the bolts are released?
Fish I’m from Northumberland and so i grew up riding those roads. Looks like you were on A68 heading up into Scottish Borders. The A697 is even better; next time maybe. I live in Surrey now and Yes its significantly warmer in the South. Great vlog thanks
@@Mrfish2015 was brilliant watching you enthuse about roads I have ridden often enough to become under appreciative. It’s great watching someone ride them with a fresh set of eyes. I do admire you using Calimoto and Im guessing it was set to winding roads. Not sure I could do that for 250 miles. I love it but you get nowhere in a hurry. Does take you on roads seldom used tho
Welcome to my country mr fish , West Lothian I live you got a good first day up hear ,your loving it bloody can tell bye your voice ,so us the people love it too enjoy 🫶🫶🏴
Nice surprise seeing this video, as you only posted last video a few days back 🙂 Question for you...Why do you always ride Honda's ?? Hope you enjoyed Scotland 🙂
I get good deals on them lol plus I quite like the reliability.. the Africa twins were always my favourite bikes in that genre .. but the rest just seems to happen lol
I got a 500 in april and i cant drive more than for 1 hour and my ass/ back is numless and hurting on the seat on the 500 nx so what is your solution to that ?
Great vid mate. Please be careful with that phone set up. Nowt wrong with it, as it is. Just get the cable out in heavy rain. Mine died, a few years after a continued heavy down pour. It was down to corrosion on a sensor, rendering, face time useless and camera problems. Cheers. 👍🏻 nowt to do with vibration, I might add.
Great stuff
Amazing, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I was mezmorised watching this.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
Stunning scenery and roads. I like this series John. 👍🏻
Thanks

How was 8 hours on the nx, pick mine up next week!great viewing.
It was fine , I have a cool cover on the seat that made a massive difference
Scenery: 9.2/10
Commentary: 10/10
I reckon the English have the best sense of humor. I hope to visit California, Scotland someday.

The map is on the screen at 2:30; he was on the Cumbrian side, nowhere near the A68.
All the roads seem to be great out of town .. I don’t think you can go wrong , but I’ll put it on my list for next time
When using Calimoto, just divide the total by 30 to give you your time, it will be right of you'll go quicker
I do work out my times based around my average speed .. just pointing out to people not to rely on its ETA … I made that mistake when I first got it 😂
Garage envy 😅😂
4 …. Wow
ther was nothing wrong with the door at the beginning of the video mate Perfect size
Ha ha , you’d love it
Your first wheels into Scotland were in Dumfries & Galloway pal 😊
Ahh , thanks , I wasn’t sure what the area was , I came back through the Galloway forest area ..
