I commented it on the last video and I'm just copy pasting it here again but: You should add a wooden deck/terrace on the back of the house looking down to the stream. And skylights are a great idea. I would recommend Velux skylights. You can open them with a remote and pull curtains over them with a remote + they're extremely well insulated.
