Taken from the research i've made its all in your brain, My GF is experiencing the same thing and we are both in a journey to help her, my role is to support and be patient with her which i'm good at. Since its psychological the process will be slow but will get there.
Just watched this video and hopefully it will answer more questions, as I understand it’s not just emotional but physical condition. Please take a listen to this couple’s story. I’ve had this. I couldn’t have vaginal sex until I was 21 after years of trying. Now I can have relatively easy penetration. What helped was: Yoga (deep breathing calming my self. Also I felt like I can control my body parts-and calm them) Dilators: any entry was no matter how small or shallow was a success. My boyfriends size was substantial so I had to work up to him. At first I felt like there was no hole. And then calmed and was able to put the tip of a tiny bullet, and then a thin dilator and eventually my boyfriend. He could only enter never move 😅. Supportive boyfriend: he was pushy but loving. At first he would hurt my feelings but then he understood i couldn’t control it and tried being helpful and gentle. I still can’t take him perfectly but it soooo much better Finally I never claimed something was wrong: it may not work for everyone but I felt like if I narrated it then it would become more real. I knew something was wrong as a teenager and was proactive but I never claimed vaginismus. Now I do because I’m over it. But at the time I was ‘just as normal as the next woman’. Anyways. I hope this helped Good luck ladies ❤
@@ashvlogs5484 it was not only very painful, but impossible. it felt like he was hitting a wall. i tried for the first time with my high school sweetheart as a teen, then at 18 i was able to insert a tiny bullet but only the tip. it was enough to give me the confidence to explore dilators. I did that for about 6 months(they were also painful) but that combined with my above method increased my confidence. after a few months i encounter a real man. the dilator i used was thinner than the average penis. He could insert but he couldn't move. i felt happy to have been inserted by a real man. (he wasn't satisfied though). we did this for about 2 years, the entire time i was never fully able to have normal sex and we had week long breaks in between. sometimes i was able to preform normally with the exception of a few positions but then i would regress. one day my body just cooperated fully and i've had minimal rejections since. i hope this helped.
I have Lichens (LS) and vaginismus. Not been able to have a smear test and everything is fusing. Having LS makes things ten times worse as it is so chronic and sore all the time. 😢
@@kevinsj99 Think about it. 12 likes means what I said makes total sense to many. I can understand for others it is perplexing. I will write about it in one of my books. I guess it's worth explaining. This is not the place to elaborate, sorry.
I don't think so, at least certainly not directly. I'm a lesbian and I have vaginismus. There are heterosexual women who have it as well, lesbians who don't have that problem etc
@@julesclarke6140 thanks! The reason I ask was I was wondering if one experiences vaginismus due to lack of sexual attraction towards the partner. Also in case of lesbian couples this may not be a real issue I am guessing? As penetration is not going to be on the table unless one is using sex toys. Hope I am not making you uncomfortable! Just trying to learn.
This is the best video on vaginismus I’ve seen.

Hi i am arpit
Being treated emotionally poorly by your partner can ascerbate the problem. Most men cant be kind in regards to this issue.
As a highly sensitive person I have too many issues.
I feel this so much

I have hope now! Will try all your suggestions!!
This is really helpful, very clear with the information and easy to understand. I hope I can cope with my vaginal pain by doing more meditations.
Brilliant! 5.30pm vic.
Thank you so much doctor. What about physiotherapy?
I think I had Vulvydena sp? Too sore to even sit down?

This was helpful. Thank you 🙏
Seems like it could be associated with Endo, which I have been told I could very well have.
Thank you for this video, so informative!
I am scared to see a doctor so medical treatment should I take
Wow I enjoyed the information in this video, there is hope for me and my sex life. Thank you for posting. How often do you do maintenance stretching?
Fantastic video thank you
Thanks for this video. I’m currently using dilators to try and break the hymen. It’s really painful once it touches the hymen. Is this vagnismus?
Hi have you ever worked with the link between tension in the jaw and the pelvic floor? If so how and have you found it useful? Thanks!
please ... if you will..... is it possible to have been diagnosed with Lichens Sclerosis and that is 'the problem' ??
How to contact with you ?

it is a psychological protection mechanism of intelligent women. Seems a paradox but it's not.
That doesn't make any sense, elaborate?
