  • We booked a flight from Barcelona to CVG months in advance. The flight was booked through Air France and serviced by Delta Airlines. One month before we were to leave we by chance saw we had no flight! Neither airline texted, emailed or phoned about the change! We managed to get it fixed but we have been downgraded in the process. So how did we get our seats? What compensation should we expect from the European Passengers Bill of Rights? And what else did we learn? #travel #delta #airfrance #passengerbillofrights

    I wonder if the notification would have been made closer to the flight. Thanks for the bill of rights info.

      Possibly, but we had about 30 days until the trip. Also, in talking with Air France they said it was an involuntarily cancelation. So we certainly didn't want to chance not getting it corrected before we set sail. It was odd not to get any notifications at all. My experience has been an alert anytime there is a change, even a slight one. So I think being proactive was necessary. Thank you for contributing to the conversation.
