Tim Akkerman was always saying he doesn't cry or get emotional. He even named his new album Lions Don't Cry.

Floor is such a sweet woman. How can anyone not love her.
Someone with a very dark heart really. She's a great vocalist, and still her singing skills pale in comparison with her quality as a human being.
She radiates such a bright light and love.. Whenever I see her, I see nothing but love.
The quest to hear Floor sing is beyond anything I have ever experienced. I know lots of singers in the past that I just loved but if they sang outside the genera for the most part I could take it or leave it. With Floor it's completely different. i want to hear her sing everything because her voice is like transporting me through time. The watery eyes, the goosebumps and the hair standing up on the back of my neck over and over when I watch reaction videos. Just the same feelings as the first time I watched Ghost Love score and was absolutely floored, pun intended. She is the singer of several generations and I think the world is finally starting to see what they have got. I want to keep her for myself if you know what I mean, in my own little corner but on the other hand I am like a proud father that wants to say I told you so. I hope she continues to wow us because she is absolutely in a league of her own.
Humanity is preserved when the individual is not so numb that he does not move, when movement is necessary and justified. Floor Jansen is able to shake people's hearts the way she creates music, with her use of sound and interpretation .... ❤️ 👏 🥳

The back story on this song is so touching, and the fact that Floor said she was singing it for Tim, because he is a winner too, is definitely time to get the tissues. But I think my favorite part is how it doesn't matter if Floor is singing to an audience of 7, or 20,000,when she says, "raise your hands!" everyone does it. Beautiful song. Thanks for the reaction.

Jimmy, you are more beautiful without glasses. Eyes are the mirror to the Soul. And soul we have here. Floor's performance is outstanding and at the end she drops an emotional bomb. And Tim (and us) were done.

Jimmy my man, I love you dude. I find it fantastic that you let your emotions take the better of you in public. I'm with you. First the blinking speed increases, then the tissues come out because the blinking isn't going to hold the tears back and in the end we're weeping like a child. And I've seen this song (and many others of her) already fifty times or more. What is it with this woman? We are not the only ones; so many people react the same. She is something very very special. But why? Is she alien? Is she a goddess? Is she an angel? Tell me, please...
She’s human and thats why... she is able to demonstrate our own emotions with her voice through her amazing inflections and facial expressions and body movements. Its as if she experiences the pain of a disabled family member or loss and projects it in such a way that stays true to her singing ability. She also does it in like 6 languages 😨
