I love how the game started with you fighting robots and steampunk monsters, then ends with you fighting ancient knights and eldritch abominations. They totally nailed the Bloodborne vibe.
Maybe it is its description before the more advanced puppets were made? Sort of like advanced technology for the 70s isn't up to par with today's technology, but for a time it was cutting edge.
I’m pretty sure it’s meant to represent a changing of eras. The other puppets are much more artisanal and ornate, serving multiple functions, while the puppet of the future is clearly built only to interact with Krat’s growing heavy industry. A shift from focus on quality, to quantity. Simple puppets that serve their purpose and nothing more.

This plays nothing like souls games... tbh I was majorly dissapointed in this game it just feels like a cash grab for a poor excuse of a "Bloodborne for pc and xbox" but it plays nothing like BB... this game honestly is super easy... u can just r1 monkey mashing and win (from the video all the person did was mash r1 with the occasional r2) and only like 2 bosses imo felt fun and unique.... this games honestly just so lazily done cause it's like th÷ devs took sekiro copy and pasted it's combat to a T then added a bioshock infinite type atmosphere *plus also this game doesn't have pvp and to me no pvp automatically makes this game shite... pve isn't fun.... it's fun for like one Maybe 2 playthroughs then after that it's boring and feels like a chore.... plus parrying in this game is honestly useless.... no spacing no parrying no "skill" actually needed to beat this game just rush in r1 with the occasional r2 spam plus to me there's very little weapon variety all weapons look different yes but they all kinda play the same*
I want a game to be challenging and I wanna feel accomplished when I beat this game with my playthrough I didn't feel appealed at all when I killed a boss so that upset me.. just mashed r1 and felt like mhm... next.. and to me this doesn't even feel like it's worth the 60/70 bucks it is

Its frustrating. Everything else is easy but bosses are insane. If u have patient to fail and try again, fail and try a gain fail and try again too many times before u success, go for it. You Tube videos are only showing the battles they finally succeeded.
If u like game where everything else is easy but boss fights are insane and your character progression is slow, then buy it. I recommend to play it with Game Pass too... its nothing that interesting and bosses are frustrating. Alltho u win boss fights with repeating same things over and over with every boss so it becomes repetative too
How the heck did u get pass the first boss? I do dodges and blocks at the correct time but still loose practically most of my health. I’ve played other souls games. I’m currently playing lords of the fallen.

the game art is awesome, reminds me a lot of bloodborne and DMC 5 vibe, the combat is pretty much souls like but not as good as elden ring or on that matter dmc 5. i think its a good game, not fantastic
it copies lot of mechanics from fromsoft games but enemies and bosses lack of movesets eventually makes you feel like you are reapeting every boss with the same combat style and there is no challenge
