I think you might have a serious problem in 2 years when your deck isn’t close to level. U shoulda spent some more money on concrete if you want it to last. But it is a great short term rink to get on the “ice” this summer!
I wish I could have something like this in my backyard it would help so much with my on ice shorting and stick handling. seeing you having a dream of mine it makes me happy
It's prob cheaper to try to make real ice in 97 degree weather than to buy that surface. That shit isn't cheap... and it sucks to skate on. I'd rather just find a tennis court and get some rollerblades
This is literally my dream backyard. I think you should probably get a skate sharpener because it dulls your blades a lot. Love the vids keep up the great work
Hey trew I was thinking of asking my parents if we could just do the deck to put the tiles on in my backyard and I was wondering how much this cost you? Sick vid!
This video was very underwhelming. I'd be pissed if I was your sponsor. Show some emotion buddy. The step dad seemed like he's been doing TH-cam longer than you, that's how awkward you are with a camera. Besides the lack of excitement you show while your step dad was doing most of the work. I'll still thumbs up because your father's a good man and I wouldn't want his efforts to go unnoticed.
Its only $17 per sqft!! Thats $300k to make a full size hockey rink with glice just for the glice.. You can prob make a real refrigerated icerink for 300k plus dollars😂😂
This is an absolute DREAM come trew.
Yo love the new videos been watching for about a year now amazing to see how you’ve grown
Completely agree
BEAUTY TREW CREW

Nice rink👍 But you need some Sharkblades from Greenhockey than it is like skating on ice.
Nice vid man sick rink
😂😂😂😂
You should invest in some sharkblades, it makes skating on synthetic ice so much smoother.
It’s looks sick! Enjoy it!
in the winter add boards and a tarp and make a real rink if it gets cold enough in the winter
Your wood may rot if it is directly on the soil. Why didnt u guys use cement blocks to keep it off the ground slighltly no?
How big is your setup? 4 tiles across and maybe 6 tiles long?
Edit: Nm i can see it. 4x7 so just about 16' x 28'.
do you think its possible to play a full on game with your mates? would the surface feel right for it?
Awesome video cool rink!!
Coach chippy impression is crazy

This was awesome, what happened to seeing some videos of you playing 3v3 on this ? Your step dad is very cool to have done this.
I would love to do this myself in the future 🥹
How do inline skates feel on the tiles?
"without this we wouldn't be skating in the desert" dawg u live in Connecticut
Get Carlos to try the rink out.

I build a ice rink in my backyard every winter in Canada
Sharkblades!
Sick
Would’ve been nice if you had a big white truck nearby to help you move all that wood and tiles.
There’s spray you can put on it that makes it amazing
Wish I could do this
So jelly
Spray pledge or something on the tiles real puck slides 100% better
Thumb nail was cooler then the video

If you get a leaf blower than it’s easier to clean than sweep

Here before 1 min
i know your legs are burning from the pressure you need to skate on tiles
i feel like synthetic ice is gunna dull your skates so quickly
RIP to your blades. Synthetic ice isn’t great for them make sure to sharpen them before getting back on the ice
No he can just use a separate pair of steel for the synthetic ice he’s got a million pairs of steel so he will be fine
Yoooo
