The Grinder in the repair is a Makita 9557NB. If your grinder is smoking you probably need the Field and Armature. Both of these can be replaced for around $45.00 USD. The Makita grinders on our site are 110 Volt 60 Hz. Please beware the components for for these are very model specific. Use the model number off your tool when purchasing parts

Hi Eric, we do not have any data in our system on the Makita HP1630. It is not a tool that is used in North America. It is a 220 Volt tool. The tools used here are 110 Volt. The HP1630 is not listed in the Makita USA catalog.

compre el mismo modelo y tres días después de a verla comprado se rompieron tres de los dientes de la misma parte que se muestra en el video. lo peor es que solo la estaba utilizando para remover pintura con discos de lijado.
creo que makita a dejado de tener la calidad por la cual tiene tanta popularidad.
esto lo digo porque trabajo mucho con este tipo de herramientas y entre ellas tengo algunas que me han acompañado por años y aun siguen trabajando en muy buenas condiciones.
I'm surprised to hear that your having a problem with your tool. We have many commercial accounts that use these Makita grinders. The Gears do wear and need to be replaced but it's not at all common to have an problem in such a short time. I recommend checking the Drive gear on the end of the armature also check all of the bearings for wear or play. If these are worn it will cause slight movement and the gears and teeth wont mesh correctly.
Me sorprende saber que tienes un problema con tu herramienta. Tenemos muchas cuentas comerciales que usan estos molinos Makita. Los engranajes usan y necesitan ser substituidos pero no es común tener un problema en tan poco tiempo.
Recomiendo comprobar el engranaje de la transmisión en el extremo de la armadura también comprueba todos los cojinetes
para el desgaste o el juego. Si estos se usan, causará un ligero movimiento y los engranajes y dientes no encajarán
correctamente.
