I just finished!, mine was the altenator belt making the noise, so I also tightened up the other two, now in all good, no squeal lol, thanks boss, you are the man! ;o) CHEERS!

Glad to see you are back. With new videos. Especially with a 4runner, my favorite toyota . my 02, has the small squeal. Belt related, How exactly do you know what the right tension is? Ill go push on all my belts this weekend, and see if they are as loose as they are in your video.
I have a 2012 scion thats doing the same thing. Replace the belt and still does it. If the lights and fan is on is screetching. Shut both off. And goes away. Only one belt.

I tried tightening both alternator bolts but they’re already too tight, yet the belt is still kinda lose. Any ideas?
But after fixing the squeal...now I am hearing a chirping sound. How do you fix that?

yes 100% is the belt, got a same problem when i turn the a/c on on my 2.7L 3rz, replaced the belt and the problem is solved.

How do you know how much to tighten the belts?
My 97 Tacoma 2.7L is started to squeal off and on when the truck gets at operational temperature I checked the very bottom pulley it feels loose
Does the second generation 4runner have an alternator belt Tensioner?
Loose alternator belt was source of noise. I HIGHLY recommend soaking the adjustment bolt prior to tightening. 😑. ‘98, 293k, 5 speed.

My 99 4runner is doing the same thing every time I start up the SUV if the air is on
