In what, I believe, will now be a yearly occurence, here is our second cruise out on the Waverley. The PS Waverley is the world's oldest passenger carrying, seagoing paddle steamer. This trip carried us past a plethora of historic sites between Oban and Coll. A fabulous experience, and a great day out!

I really enjoy going on the Waverley each year. She moves through the water so serenely and does not lurch about the place when berthing at the piers! Amazingly she can move at speed too and is so majestic that she has taken my soul and I am addicted to her! Thanks for posting. .........Tich.

I went on the Waverley when I was at primary school back in the 70's a gull stole my sandwich 😞Great video as always 👍
We hardly saw a bird on this trip, so all tasty nibbles were safe lol

What a fun trip! Thank you for taking us along for the ride. What a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing the history of the places along the way. The castle, forgive me for not remembering the name, but it looked like it was being worked on.. Can people tour it, or does someone live there? I love seeing the old castles, even the ones that are only partly standing. What stories those stones could tell. It's nice when the sun comes out. I'm glad you got to see it for part of your trip! Duart Castle on Mull can indeed be visited.... It's on one of my growing lists 🤣🤣 I was relieved when the weather improved. It was pretty lumpy on the way out, I was pretty green for a time 🤢

The Waverly has been sailing not far from us this year, I'd love to go. You have such beautiful scenery with the castles.
I can't recommend it highly enough- it's a fabulous experience, and let's you see sites from a different angle!
