would you say they’re light to hold, perhaps more so that other long scale ones? my teacher recommended an ibanez short scale because the long scale one i use at practice feels a bit heavy in my hand, plus i generally have pretty small hands and short arms. but they aren’t available in stores near me for another 2 months and i don’t think i can wait that long 😬
Just purchased the white one after playing my friends at band practice and being blown away. This is one of the best basses you could start with yes they are pretty light.

Would honestly be nice to hear y’all talk about the electronics, fretboard, neck, etc and what your honest opinions are because as is I haven’t actually been convinced that this is worth my money from this short vid.
Would you recommend this to a beginner who has a somewhat short stature? Or would you recommend a different almost 3/4 size bass? I really liked this bass and looked into the TMB100 quite a bit.
Your stature makes no difference, unless you've incredibly short arms. I own one of these basses, it's versatile. Though go for the TMB 100 as it's active which gives more possibilities
No, the neck is very reminiscent of an '80s P Bass. It has the thickest neck of any bass I own, and it's very neck heavy. But, it has a very playable fretboard, and the electronics are superb. I am personally going to switch out the neck to a TMB30 one.
It could be great to play real bass line when demonstrating a bass. Guitarlike gimmick in high notes like a frustrated guitarist are not of real interest.

tmb30 has a shorter scale length, I think 30 inches
