This video changed my EDC. Now I have the key organizer, the belt, the watch strap. And now I just ordered the Tony the ant wallet. All in English tan Dublin. Excellent products 👍

I love the terminology you’ve come up with to more precisely describe the surface texture of the English Dublin Tan. As Wittgenstein says: “The limits of my language are the limits of my world.” Who better to introduce and assign words that broaden the range within those limits then those actually showing, sharing, and informing us about these characteristics. Now there’s a concrete language growing about the leather’s texture that brings it into reality for those who haven’t personally seen it for themselves. You’ll have to come up with sub-categories of-figuring-to better communicate the various nuances in textures that are present in Dublin and other leathers you offer. This is how new words and meanings enter the mainstream over time. Brilliant!
Awesome edc by the way! I really look forward to seeing how you begin to describe English Tan Dublin. I liked the term ‘bark’ that you used as well, that’s an especially good sub-category. Take care!

I appreciate this feedback! There is a specific difference between the grain character and grain appearance on the surface (figuring/texture). For the figuring there are two types that I see. One is more linear and we call this "fat wrinkles" in the tannery. It kinda has a negative sound so I don't use it much. The other bit of figuring that I observe is more of a spiderweb type of effect that I call quilted. It is a play off of the quilted effect you can see in woodworking. The tannery would call this draw.

‘Quilted’ is the perfect adjective to describe that specific type of figuring effect that’s seen when English Dublin Tan displays repeating patchwork-like sections in the leather. From now on: Quilted Figuring. Perfect!

How does the Fat Herbie sit in jeans back pocket. If it fits I may need to buy.
Never mind, I just watched the Fat Herbie Color #4 shell video. Nice!

I haven't had a pocket that doesn't accommodate my Fat Herbie. You can get a good sense of the size by putting a passport into your pocket. The Herbie is only slightly larger than a passport

Im suprised they haven't made access badge holders yet? I would totally rock it around my neck if they came up with something like that.

Um all my wife head was you saying " I do really gross stuff with a stap on and I never wash it". Talk about out of context. LoL

All of the straps have a 2mm taper except a few NATO straps we've been doing
