  • Vacuum tire repair nail kit demonstration. This handy tubeless tire repair kit is designed for emergency puncture repairs on cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. This small tire repair screw is for repairing a 1mm to 3mm hole and the larger size screw is for repairing 3mm to 5mm holes. Use the small one if your car or motorcycle tire is punctured with a small & thin nail. If the nail is larger, then use the bigger size. Only repair the centre of the tread area, to within 25% of each side of the centre line. Do NOT use this repair on the shoulders or sidewall of a tire. The tire’s speed rating and history of previous repairs will also dictate whether or not you can fix the puncture. Any tyres with a speed rating up to J (62mph) can only have a repair up to a 6mm maximum size of the damage, and can be repaired no more than two times. Tyres with a speed rating between J to V (149mph) cannot be repaired more than once and only if it’s no bigger than 3mm. Any tyres above a speed rating of V cannot be repaired. These kits can help you get home, or to a garage where you can replace the tyre, although using these kits may render the tyre unsuitable for repair. In this video I am only demonstrating how to use the repair kit. I am not endorsing or recommending the use of the kit as a permanent tire repair.

these are not the best temp repairs ive used some work some dont but the better ones are the mushrooms or rubberised cord which have lasted the life of the tyre but you should always get them repaired properly when you get chance as it states temp repair to get you home or to a repair shop

What if you apply some cement, can it be a permanent solution?

I would only ever use these as an emergency repair.

Plug car; truck; trailer tires, sure. Even in the sidewalls, sure. But i would never plug motorcycle tire, not even in the tread.

I would only plug them in an emergency just to get home, or to a tire shop
