madam hamne 10 march ko apana sugar test karwaya tha fasting 115 aur khana khane kai bad 167 aayi lekin us din hamne raat mai drink bhi liya next time hamne 16 march ko ghar par accu cheek active glucometer se chek kiya to fasting mai 97 aur khana khane kai bad 127 aaya ho koi problem to nhi hai 10 se 16 kai bich hamne exercise aur khane mai potatoes chawal sugar lagbhag nhi kai barbar rakha hai madam hame koi pareshani to nhi hai ple hame bataeye mai aapki har video dekhti hu mujhe aapse mili jankari bahut acchi lagti hai

it is advisable to reduce dairy product consumption since it includes Lactose which also comes in sugar category. and as per my knowledge you may prefer curd or buttermilk wherein sugar is converted in to protein

pl consult your physician who had prescribed the medication ,before stopping the medicine .As per my knowledge her Hba1c is 6.3 under medication that is her diabetes is under good control, so I request you avoid self treatment.

pl read your Hba1c report or show it your doctor.
I don't think you should start medicines. I am also at the same sugar readings but doctor said no meds needed. Just control eating, cut on sugar intake, exercise and walk. Consult a good doctor though.

I think fasting glucose 70 - 110 is normal..& pp shouldn't reach 140. Below 180 won't harm..
Fasting glucose 70-99 and pp 100-125 are normal. Fasting glucose 100-125 and pp 126-199 are prediabetic.
Why different kind of tests for glucose may be because of tolerance level of glucose in the body different during fasting and pp. It means, 10-12 hours fasting glucose level tolerance is less and 2 hours after food tolerance level increase in the body. If tolerance level is constant say upto 199 throughout the day then medication is NOT required and in such cases only one test is required example RANDOM. I read in a medical journal that some doctors advice in foreign countries always random sugar test only. Here my doubts to be cleared by some medical experts.

I heard your advice on diabetes range on FBS/PP/HBA1C. Now I read a foreign scientist/Doctor's reports she says she never advise for fasting for checking blood glucose / Cholesterol evels. What she says that
Random checking is enough to understand the glucose level in the body.
I also reviewed this and feel that when glucose normal range is 70 - 180, which means tolerance level in the body is upto 180, ( international accepted level is upto 200, & HBA1C upto 8)then in such case why we should check both FBS/PP instead only one test is required I. e random sugar so that fasting is NOT required. I may be wrong still I ask your opinion.

you read your report, where you may find the range. Hba1c above 6.4% is considered to be diabetic. Show the report to your family physician.
