Agree with you on the fact that the s1k's are so good and so smooth they become almost boring. After 6 years on them I made a change and am loving it for the type of riding I like 👍
I don’t find it so smooth, compared with a cbr1000rr-r it’s less smooth and junky 😅
@@LoveBikesDorel so the more R's a bike has, the smoother it is lol
Hopefully see you on some rides in Sydney legend 🔥
Let’s hope so!!
Gl inari hope all goes well 😄
Legend ❤
I own a 21' rsv4 factory and a 23 s1k, tell everyone the same thing. One of the best looking bikes, but it is pretty "boring" feeling in comparison to other bikes. In the twisties/track both bikes are amazing and the "boring" side goes away fast. But on street rides, it's missing soul. I find the exhaust note to be so boring compared to any other literbike, it almost feels like an automatic with how smooth it shifts, it's tricky to explain, it just isn't as exciting to ride as other literbikes
I know its a bit of a different bike and even bike category. I would seriously recommend going down to something like a street triple / mt-09. They have shit loads of character and while they have a lot less power than 1000's, it's way more useable, most people won't get tired of that class of bike because you can actually use a decent amount of it and have some proper fun riding it around. Obviously probably hard to go from ~200hp to like ~115-130 but having ridden plenty of 1000's and owning a middle class bike, I seriously think they are way more enjoyable
