Hello young man I own 2007 tundra 5.7.lit, my mechanic drained and refilled my transmission fluid. I learned that it has about quart under filled. It made my truck delay response when I step on the gas pedal. I watched youtube then did drained and refilled my transmission. Nice and level on fluid. The truck behave like it has a new transmission. No more delay response. Yeah my wife and I also own 2016 es350, 2018 nx300, 2021 Ridgeline, and 2007 rx 350. Nice car, thanks for your video.
I have an '07 ES350 and it runs and drives absolutely perfect!! It's unbelievable at 126,000 miles how well everything is holding up for a 15 year old car.
I have a 2008 that I bought two years ago with 87,000 on it and it is the best car I could’ve possibly asked for. 150,000 now and never had a single problem
Thinking of getting one there's a 2011 Lexus Escalade 350 with 78k miles looks clean just worried on the maintenance expense? any Lexus owners out there?. thanks
I’ve had a 2013 ES350 (6th Gen for 2 years it was flawless) then sold it 2 years ago to get rid of a monthly payment for my current 2002 ES300 (4th gen). Bought it with 160k now has 178k miles. Within first year I Replaced some 20 year old OEM parts. Struts, starter, alternator and exhaust flex pipe. Love it. I do like the looks of the 5th Gen better but after putting a few thousand into it I won’t be selling it anytime soon. Maybe when I retire in 5 years.
Are you talking about the low tire pressure light? If so, yeah that thing has been on ever since I’ve had the car and I’ve had new wheels and tires put on it a few years ago and I got the car in 2016. I just haven’t screwed with getting it off. Probably should though
@ClassicChrome01 yes that's what I mean. My scan tool won't detect it but I'm thinking of just finding someone with a more advanced scan tool to turn it off. Thanks for your response
I drive a 2007 Lexus ES and I love it and will never look back. I myself will never ever get rid of it but eventually get a new daily driver while never getting rid of it. Have you changed your transmission fluid at all? Honestly I’d say it’s the transmission. There shouldn’t be anything wrong I just don’t thing it’s built for that. Great video
That’s awesome! Yes ES’s are great cars. And yeah, it’s obviously not made for performance. It was pretty stupid of me to ask about that lmao. I think the transmission fluid is fine
Great video! Such a beautiful car you have. I’ve got a 2006 Avalon with the same engine and it’s amazing! I guess that delay is just the transmission it’s programmed for comfort more than quick downshifts? That would be my guess. I honestly think the 5 speed in my Avalon is more responsible than the later 6 speed. Not really comparable but my 2010 Camry 4 cylinder has the 6 speed and it’s a bit slow on kickdown.
Thank you, I appreciate it! Yes, Avalon’s are great cars. That is my guess too. I think the transmission just isn’t made for racing obviously lol. I was just curious if there was a way to change it. But it’s a nice smooth transmission so it’s not that big of a deal.
Nice, I have the same color. I notice ESs of that gen with our color, the rear windshield and rear windows are tinted. Wonder if that was a package thing for that color. Unfortunately when I bought mine last year, the tint was bubbling and I couldn't see out the rear window. Tried removing it and I ruined the defogger lines, I will eventually repair them. I'm wondering whether to retint, because don't want the tinters to mess up the defogger lines themselves
Yeah the very few other ES’s in that color I’ve seen are tinted. It could be a package, I never thought about that. It’s a pretty rare color especially with black interior. But yeah I’d want to get it retinted too but I agree that it’d be risky but I’m sure it’d probably be fine if you told them about it
I have an '07 ES with 206.800 mi and an immaculate interior! and it drives like it only has 40.000 mi on it. Where I used to work I got to drive one with 88,000 mi and it does not feel any different at all

2008 with only 60k miles?? That’s awesome! Extremely low for an 08! And yes that is very strange because my car absorbs rough surfaces like it’s nothing and is always extremely smooth. It shouldn’t do that especially with how low the mileage is.
I have not. I’ve just done oil changes and all that type of stuff. I’m not sure if they’ve done anything with the transmission. I doubt It. I probably need to
About to buy a 2010 with 49k miles. It has the parking sensors front and back as well as the navigation screen. Wondering if you can update the screen to one that accept apple carplay and android auto.

About 99% of Lexus vehicles that had this recall were immediately fixed. This was a serious safety issue back when it was first discovered. They shaved down the gas pedal and changed floor mats. Most people didn't get the replacement gas pedal.. They just got their accelerator "shaved down"
May I ask, please what exactly is the difference between this 07 and the 09 es 350. I wanna get an es but I keep seeing similar price for both year models (used). Are there no any features that differentiate both ?

It’s recommended but not required. I’ve always put premium in it. It’ll get slightly better gas mileage, be slightly more reliable and quicker as well.
Yeah it does it cuz the transmission isn’t made for performance and instant responses like sports cars. Mine doesn’t do it all the time but one time I was roll racing my friend in her mustang and it was a solid like 1 and a half second delay before the car started accelerating. It was odd.
