- If you want to know what the absolute best Pokémon are for each Pokémon Type in Pokémon GO, then this video is for you. I will be going over each Pokémon that has the highest DPS and discussing which ones you should invest into first. If you power up these Pokémon before any other, then you will get ahead in Pokémon GO. Do keep in mind that I am specifically covering the top DPS Pokémon, so some of these won't necessarily be good for PVP content.

Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It uses the mobile device GPS to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free to play; it uses a freemium business model and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 500 by 2019.
Pokémon Go was released to mixed reviews; critics praised the concept, but criticized technical problems. It was one of the most used and profitable mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide by the end of the year. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018. - เกม
I’d personally recommend Lucario over Shadow Hariyama. Lucario has actually slightly better dps as a fighting attack type and will be getting a mega form in 2024. It’s a better investment imo.
Agreed 👌🏻
But I have 98% 15/15/14 I have to max it out 🥹
@@erickdorazco4469 I know that temptation haha do what you must!
I understand @@erickdorazco4469

Much appreciated analysis!
Excellent lists!
i wish someone would rank DPS without the charge move. for taking out rockets the fastest. stuff like kartana that whips them without even using its charged move. for example. zarude has a great DPS but takes too long to take out rockets cause its using its charged move. same story with xurkitree.
Awesome lineup thanks for the info 👌👌👌
I was just obsessing over this exact topic! I made my own spreadsheet of wishlist Pokémon, definitely on the hunt for those rock and roll grunts for good shadow Rampardos
Awesome video count. Hope you have a great new years
a super helpful list which I always wanted. I invested too much randomly. Now I will focus on creating one awesome raid team per type 🎉
Im hoping the primals and mega rayquaza return during go fest so I can get the energy for them
Thank you for all your amazing videos man, great content. I’m just getting back into pogo, and getting my Pokemon’s organized. As I’m watching the video I watch 14 elite TM’s on hydreigon looking for brutal swing cuz you missed the * on that moveset ! 😢
THANK YOU JINSULA!!!! CONCISE, INFORMATIVE AND TO THE POINT!!!!!
On Bug I would say the budget team is having as you said those + Mega Beedrill since you get the mega energy even as a mission and spinning gyms
I would like to make a case for Gholdengo in the ghost category. While do agree with your list. I understand you are making a list and not so much top 8 raid team of each category because you cant have a mega gengar and mega banette on the same team.
Shadow ghosts are super glassy. While lets say shadow chandelure can deal more damage all it takes is bad rng of not dodging fast enough and goes down after not getting a charge move off.
I know evolving ghimmighoul and gholdengo isn’t accessible unless you have a switch and a copy of pokemon scarlet or violet. The process of getting the golden coins is a long process. I found the process enjoyable over the zygard cell hunt and may not get one.
Side note: I like using my golden lure after every big event to restock on items. Wife and put on two golden lures and just go back and forth. Sometimes We would play a game who can get the most gold coins each time. Loser buys ice cream, even though its just luck.
Anyways, the steel type of gholdengo make it have a slightly beefier defense. It has a better max cp, defense, and stamina than shadow chandelure. I am using pokemongohub. If you are using something different that is cool and would like to check it out.
It is easier to get a gimmighoul than shadow litwick right now. Key word is right now especially if someone is starting new right now.
You can catch gimmighoul daily through coin bag then trade to get a lucky.
Just use a golden lure every five days to get gold coins. To get the coin bag you must everyday send a postcard to pokemon scarlet or violet account. After 5 days straight you get a bonus item called golden lure.
While it may take longer it is worth it. I am not saying its number 3. It would be on my team of six ghost types/attackers. Over all i think gholdengoul is at least an honorable mention. I am not stating a case shadow chandelure doent have a higher attack than gholdengo. I am just trying to make the case of gholdengo is viable option.
I everyone plays the game different and I respect that. I understand not all pokemon go players can get others to do raids. Usually its the wife and I doing the shadow raids. We check pokebattler for suggested players. If we have to for normal higher tier raids we just use pokegenie or something similar to get more players. Power play has been helpful for us.
Thank you for your time both making content and interacting. I apologize if i am all over the place.
THIS is the content i want the most! Thanks for the update Count Jinsula. I'm glad i subbed!
Probably one of the best raids to grind right now since in the future there will likely be a com day classic and congrats on the 87% shiny 👍
oh damn. Thanks for the link
You're welcome. I hope the video is helpful 👍
Great content. I was actually kind of looking for an opposite list. What Pokemon should I spend zero time on? I've got a lot of Pokemon I've saved with either great raid or pvp IVs but haven't bothered to power them up. Will they ever get relevant updates or be left to be Pokedex fillers only?
That's a pretty massive list, even with pvp and Gym Defenders included. But it's a great video idea that I would love to tackle someday 👍
I could see a video like this but on Pokemon we think are worth it because they're legendaries, mythical, raid exclusive, or great in the console games , but don't spend it! lol@@CountJinsulaOfficial It'd be helpful while also being entertaining.
Thanks fot giving Mega Beedrill its due credit as #1 poison type attacker
After making my previous video of the same topic, I quickly wanted to remake it because of that one omission. Mega Beedrill is just too good
I have one maxed out mega Tyranitar, and two maxed out shadow Tyranitar, one being a (15, 15, 13) and the the othee being(15, 13, 12) as well as i got a maxed out hundo hydreigon from the comday, and i also hace a maxed 89% shadow weavile
I think that Shadow Moltres with fire moves, shadow feraligtr with water moves should be at the list aswell. They are a bit hard to get atm unfortunately.
Shadow Moltres does far better DPS with its flying abilities. It gets out DPS’d by other fire typings.
With the introduction of mega heracross will you be updating the bug/fight type?
So would a low IV shadow still be worth investing in? Or should I wait to get a good IV for that one?
4:03 Zekrom will be number 1, when they finally give it thunder fang FFS and dope vid too count
Haha you are zekrom's biggest fan and I love to see it
@@CountJinsulaOfficial I’m the leader/ founder of Bolt Gang( Zekrom fan club) 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
can anyone explain why the fast move and charge move should be of the same type? I've discovered that many pokemon have higher DPS and TDO when their fast and charge moves are not limited to the same type.
loved this list, if any non shadow form pokemon make the list wouldnt it make sense that the shadow form would perform better and vice versa? etc would shadow darumaka for fire type rank any higher in the list and also would a normal granbull be a good budget fairy option instead of shadow form
Still waiting for shadow raikou. Missed that one when I was hospitalized from a brain hemorrhage.
I have shadow metagross but his iv’s are horrible, but I also have a regular metagross 3 star so what should I upgrade???
Why are the actual dps' not on the graphics??
Why do you have a different moveset on the mega Alakazam and the regular Alakazam in the Psychic part?
“Its incredibly easy to get cranidos” anyone tips ive been trying for ages, only very rarely spawns on a grunt
I’d like to see this exact video but for PVP. As good as this information is, I’m not a big fan of glass cannons.
Lucario? Annihilape? Mega Ampharos? HO-Oh? Mega Steelix? Palkia?Haxorus? Darkrai? (And any number of other legendaries?)
What’s better for PVE raid focus? DPS or TDO / ER numbers?
It depends. For Rocket Battles, definitely TDO. If you Raid, DPS is highly favorable especially if you are Raiding in less numbers. But if you are in an area with a high number of Raiders, TDO is fine.
Thankyou
Thanks, Jin! As a pvp player I didn’t know most of these were even considered top tier! Very helpful
Why do you have EX raid system symbol on Pheramosa? It's a normal T5?
It's a symbol for Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beast. Basically Pokémon you can only get from T5 Raids, GBL rewards, or Special research
Honchkrow
Does IV matter if it's a shadow Pokemon
I really would like a shadow kingler
One day it will be available and will blow up the top Water Types
So keep them shadow? Don’t purify them?
should i purity my kyoger??
Why not ER values instead of just DPS? Still good lists though of course
Isnt shadow tyranitar better than normal rampardos for best rock type?
Nope rampardos is that OP
wait so these r best for raids ? Not the battle league
for rock its acctually mega diancie at the top.
Not a fan as half the recommendations on each type are the megas, which you can only use one of them at any time... not so helpful compared to if you used 5 non mega and then talk best mega as well
❤️
very helpful
Now imagine how the heck all the Singaporean grandma's that play 30minutes a per day gonna get 5 max out Pheramosas
Emm wtf 😳 where is Darkrai in dark pokemon list?
Why he say Raikou like that bro it’s not riko it’s Raikou
It's how you pronounce it look it up
1 complaint about the video, at 6:05, VOLCARONA IS A BUDGET POKEMON? I COULD GET ANY OF THE TOP 6 EASIER THAN IT, anyway goodbye lol
I've been working on my raid teams, one for each type, while also trying to keep them unique, with no duplicates
So for example, my psychic team has a Mewtwo and a Shadow Mewtwo, but not more than one of each
Just yesterday finally got all my teams to minimum level 30, but still another four million to get all the remaining Pokemon to level 40 😂
