It might be obvious, but a great tip if you wish o gain ALOT of stardust is to NOT throw away any type of berries. Use them fo feed Pokemon in Gyms, if possible a full gym and use a star piece if you can. It is a much better use of berries instead of just discarding them. You can never get to much stardust :)
@@Run3sc4p3g0D True, but if you feed a full gym that is still ALOT of extra star dust. Obviously this depends on how many star pieces you have and are willing to spend them.
Legacy moves has to be the worst thing in the game. “Oh you missed community day or a raid because you didn’t play 2 years ago? Well no legacy move for you unless you have a super rare item.”
Considering that this is aimed for those who don't have many powered up pokemon, I'd actually put Ground, Ice and Fighting up up to 5/5 stars with Rock, since beginners only have a handful of Stardust to use, they should use their first bits of dust on getting at least 6 pokemon from each of those types to lvl 40, or CP around 3000, then they will be covered for most of the Legendary raids out there.
Mamoswine is s big pick. Ice attacker and Electric/Fire attacker. Ground resists Electric and Mamoswine is s very good attacker there aswell. But have to watch out for Fire moves from Fire Pokemon.

Thanks for the overall meta list- a number of the Pokémon I use a lot when I do play GBL are on it (from the great & master leagues) but I almost never play ultra league, so I'll make sure to prioritise the UL picks you mention & focus on powering those ones up. Nice list. A important information is, that you normally only need 3 good options/type (only ground/rock is so superior that it make sense to have 6 of them) As a rookie I focused on the dual Typ Pokémon like Rhyperior, Excadrill, Mamoswine etc…and finally Mewtwo (which depends on 2nd charge move is the most versatile attacker in the game… not top but always good) Ah and lvl40 is mostly enough if you have not enough dust… better to have a great large lvl40 Roster as a small lvl50 Roster. If someone starts with PoGo I wohl recommend 4 legendarys with Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre …. followed by a good roster of Rock, Ground and Ice Attackers(which are mostly not legendary)

One extra thing that you (and I think a lot of people have missed) is that Staraptor just got access to the charged move Fly during this season. This really propels both Staraptor and Shadow Staraptor as flying attackers. On top of that, it's Comm Day move Gust also makes it slightly stronger, and because it's a Fast Move, Elite Fast Tm's are needed less. I have 12 Elite Fast Tms, and NOTHING to use them on. And 2 legendarys not upgraded after RAID. The only pokemon of the whole list i have enough Bonbons and high iv ones is magnezone. Maybe Mankey too but there i wait for com day

Nvm there is a budget Version. Perfext for me as New f2p in a rural Region
But is there any Tipps for THE first mon to build or just Take any i have. And should i as beginner Focus on Mond with high cp or the same Species with good iv. I just have 300k starduat and just reached lvl 32 so i dobt own many xl bons
For exanple i have many high cp absol. But zero 3 Stars and 0 two Stars. Just one Star and 0 Star. Are they worth?
These days we had the electric event. So should magnezone my first strong mon? The only high cp mons i have are low iv absol rapidash and many many fight pokemon around 2k. And 2 legendarys not upgraded after RAID.
The only pokemon of the whole list i have enough Bonbons and high iv ones is magnezone. Maybe Mankey too but there i wait for com day
This is one of my favorite yearly videos! Helps me choose what to keep and what not. Thanks!
I have to say that the video is very informative as it should… For Beginners or/and Players Who Stop Playing 2Years Ago Am Came Back…
Niantic had have been very STRONG in the idea of starting the life of this game as much as possible am for that end they HAD RECYCLED RAID BOSSES none stop… not to mention that we are missing a lot of Pokédex Mon por Region!
Finally As PvP goes a Mon can be good for 2-3 seasons am a simple move change am that Mon is over… very difficult Am dangerous to power up a Mon at the end of a season…
About the PVP section, how do you get 3 attacks per pokemon? (Sorry for the question I quitted somewhere around 2017)
Was gonna comment on your last video about one of these. Nice timing!
Oh gosh electro drift miraidon is gonna be insane it’s insane in violet atleast
do you power up pokemon with 3/4 stars or with low atack for pvp ? like low atack iv?
I will add someones who were fortgotten in each type:
Electric typing: shadow manetric and shadow luxray are also top dps
Fire typing: shadow blaziken,shadow infernape
Ghost typing: shadow banette and shadow mismagius
Grass typing: shadow vectribeel is good and shaimin it's optimal with magical leaf as fast atackk not the hide power
How many raid attackers do you keep in each category?
Yes advice please!!
I've been waiting for this years edition of this ^^
How is it possible to use cresselia if it comes from raids and it is impossible to get a good iv for pvp?
you need to trade for it
How many different teams do I need for each PvP league? Am I fine with just 1 team for each or do I need many teams?
1 team is fine just practice with them alot and it will get better
Still chipping away my goal of every lvl 50 perfect Mega pokemon, max mega level, double moved. At 9, which for starting 4 months ago, it's not bad. Especially for a urban area
Yo keep it up!
as a Solo player i struggle battleing raids, how can i get people to beat raids? any app? i have pokegenie but dont know how to use it, could u make a video please? or what u people suggest? i need powerful pokemons, thanks
Great work as always Dax, very helpful for the rooks 👏🏼
I got salamance with outrage and garchomp with earth power by simply evolving them in lunar year event but i also wanted hydreigon with brutal swing I fully evolved two deino but none of them had brutal swing they both had dark pulse as their charge move.. Is it only happened with me? Did anyone got hydreigon with brutal swing on lunar New year? Plz reply
Glad to see skeledirge here I am a new player and it's one of my favorite in the GL with these exact moves.😊
Psychic is neutral to Ghost. But due to Gengar being part Poison making it weak to Psychic. 13:00
Mamoswine is great because it just has two fast moves. Spending the dust to give your shadow mamoswine two moves is so useful. So easy to just use a fast TM to swap it between ground and ice attack.
Shadow crawdaunt (in grunts now) with crabhammer is close in dps with kyogre, and has a pretty good ER value. Hard to believe but it's true according to gamepress' spreadsheet. Actually, he is *ahead* of shadow kyogre with hydro pump in dps. Course, he has a lot less tdo. Shadow kyogre with surf/origin pulse, no matter the IV, will be the 2nd best water attack to Primal Kyogre. Suggest everyone get at least one.
very informative, Ive never even seen many of those you mention in shadow form.
Quick question! Stone Wrecker Rhyperior can only be obtain during special events?
I have a shadow blazican and if I purify it it'll be a 96% should I for the mega
Dont you think fighting, steel, ground and ice are the most urgent for february?? Along with dairy and dragon as palkia only weakness
In master league, did origin dialga better than normal form? Because I'm in dilema huhu
Are these best pokemon at any IV? Or do they become bad with poorer IV and Lower IV higher IV pokemonwhich are not here take thier place?
Really good list! But isnt Meteor Beam way stronger on Gigalith than Rock Slide? And i kinda miss my Shadow Luxray. I thought its a pretty strong Raid attacker too?
yes you are right that is a mistake
thanks for all the tips daxi!
Just out of curiosity what is the background song because it is amazingggg
Imagine being 1 of the worst defensive/offensive types in main series games but being the strongest in a mobile game.
Fairy types took that personally
26:25 Talonflame incinerate , flamecharge and fly
Is there somewhere where I can find search strings for these which is updated?
Tbh Golem comes in clutch so often, he fr beats almost everyone to a pulp and has good defense. I use him just as much as any of the “best” Pokemon
Wish you stuck a graph in somewhere of the type hierarchy. Rock being S-tier, poison and big being F-tier, exXC..
Great video! Again, shave that creep Stache’ 🤣
Amazing vid. Amazing channel, thanks glad I found it.
is brutal swing a non legacy move for tyranitar?
Oh hey I’m early, first time, Love your content Keep up the great work!
What site do you use to check the top counters per type?
Thank you for this video daxi. Needed this
