… isn’t mega Altaria the ONLY fairy dragon type? Like out of the 1000 Pokémon in the game the only fairy dragon type? Not saying it’s good for dps or anything but it’s probably the only Mon to give fairy and dragon bonuses which could be good for dragon raids
Mega Altaria is the only dragon type that is NOT vulnerable to dragon-type damage. It's not a very overall powerful Mega evolution - the max CP is too low - but for dealing damage to other dragon types it can be very useful.
Still have Mega Gardevoir in B tier even though trainers are more likely to have a lvl 50 because Ralts candies are much more abundant than XL rare candies, much less Diancie candies… and it hits just as hard and doesn’t have a double weakness to Steel but aight den 🤷🏾♂️
Mega Blastoise is actually better than Mega Venusaur in raids. So it should be in B tier at least. And mega Charizard doesn't have flying type moves, so it really can't do everything that a Mega Pidgeot can.
I don't know how Niantic handles move distribution, but one thing that I've seen nobody really talk about is how Gallade has access to both Aura Sphere AND Sacred Sword in the mainline titles. I'm no PvE expert, but from my understanding, these moves would make Mega Gallade a true force to be reckoned with if he were somehow given access to these moves in Pokemon GO. Maybe during some sort of Ralts Community Day Classic event?
Mega Aerodactyl is atleast "A" tier, arguably "S" tier imo. Diance and Tyranitar are obviously better attackers, but not by much. Meanwhile Mega Aero boosting XL chance for flying types (while Rock is mostly the best counter against flying types is a huge W). As much as i like my Hundo lvl 50 mega Tyra, i rather use my Aerodactyl in most of the raids where rock is necessary.
Like I said, I didn't factor in utility. So yes, it is useful for the XL Candies, but it is pretty squishy in Raids and DPS isn't as high as Ttar and Diancie.
@@CountJinsulaOfficialhe got a point A is pretty fair for Mega Aerodactyl definitely taking it's ultlity Into account but what stops it from going into S Tier is that Meg Tyranitar although it's DPS is slightly higher than Meg Aerodactyl but at the same time it also has a significantly higher TDO due to its insane bulk, thus it ends up doing alot more damage overall than Mega Aerodactyl and is better as far as an offensive Rock Mega. Then there is Mega Diancie that has a Higher DPS than both, and has the higher ER value of 46 point something but it's not much higher than Mega Tyranitar since mega Tyranitar still has a higher TDO than Mega Diancie as well and is bulkier and it's ER value is 45 being close overall as a raid attacker to Mega Diancie. Mega Tyranitar is better for it's bulk and boosting other rock mons, Diancie is better for overall DPS and both are better offensively than Mega Aerodactyl that has an ER of I believe around 42
I don't understand megas like I should. I get powering them up once a day to add bonuses and cheapen the energy used, but if I'm catching or raiding a Tyranitar I don't know what the difference is between having Aerodactyl, Diance or Banette megad. I only got one extra Salamence candy weeks ago and he was the one who I had megad.
Pinsir is S tier for XP grinders. It hits 5/6 of the six kings. Aerodactyl is S tier vs fliers because it is a rock attacker that helps farm flying candy.
Mega Blastoise and mega gyaradoss are almost the same as a water raid attackers, mega swampert and primal kyogre are much better but still I would put them in B
This is not unique to a specific mega. You get the same amount of mega energy for every buddy, but not in the same time. Walking 20 km with groudon gives 100 energy, 1 km with aggron gives 5.
Did you say when you mega evolve a Pokémon and once it comes back to normal after the hours, does it still deal the same damage? Or does the damage go back to normal also
I think you should make a tier list that encompasses all around utility including raid damage, group damage and XLs because that's far more useful especially for newer players.
basically anything that is single typing would be worse for XL and glass cannon mega would also be slightly worse for group damage Basically only some mega would move in the tier list
yeah but the ones that move could change position drastically. For the average player its helpful to know what to invest resources into based on multiple factors.
Diancie seems invalid to be here since we only ever get one (arguably 2 when the shiny eventually gets here), mine was 10/15/12 and not worthy of wasting mega energy on in my opinion
i heard Mega Mewtwo Y is still going to get outclassed by Mega Rayquaza even if both Mega Mewtwos released. Is that true? Or will Mega Mewtwo Y will dethrone Mega Rayquaza as the best DPS pokemon in the game forever?
Rayquaza is essentially the best dps forever. But both Mega Mewtwo will have insanely high TDO (which some players find to be more important) and it will have more type coverage. Mega Ray is kind of niche as a Flying Type right now
Because Fairy isn't actually not that good for Raids, when you can instead use Dragon, Ice, Fighting, Dark or Ghost Megas to deal some actually stronger damage against anything Fairy would be useful against. Fairy is the Jack of all trades, Master of none. At least Fairy Megas are still great against things that are double weak against them.
@JesusCabelloSchomburg yea but mega gardevoir has high ass dps & held the position of strongest fairy in the fame for a while. Too relevant for b tire imo
The sad thing is, I don't have a worthy Mega Mewtwo candidate, yet. Best so far is a 14/15/15, and that 14 Attack just won't cut it... Niantic really needs to add bottle caps to Pokémon Go, just make them extremely rare.
Mega Rayquaza is so powerful that it works great as a neutral raid attacker.
Its actually the best attacker against regigigas.
One thing about Mega blastoise, due to it having access to hydrocannon, a VERY strong charged move, it actually has a higher DPS then Mega Gyarados.
I would probably drop Mega Aggron one tier. It actually loses its rock typing when it mega evolve 😨

5:13, please note that Charizard does NOT have a flying type charge move, limiting it's usefullness as a flying type attacker.
Mega Blastoise is actually better than Mega Venusaur in raids. So it should be in B tier at least.

Love this list bro. Thanks for the vid

Great video bro
Nice this reminds me of the chart for best runescape bosses lol
Mega diancie is actually the best rock attacker and rock is one of the best types. Also, it has signature move and after that its gonna be even better
Pinsir is S tier for XP grinders. It hits 5/6 of the six kings.
Aerodactyl is S tier vs fliers because it is a rock attacker that helps farm flying candy.
Much better list this time. Isn't Mega Blastoise useful if it has Hydro Cannon? I would assume thats the only way it is useful
Mega Blastoise and mega gyaradoss are almost the same as a water raid attackers, mega swampert and primal kyogre are much better but still I would put them in B
Mega Blastoise usability is hurt by it being pure water meaning that it gets less use for XL candies
Imagine a mega ditto, you use transform and he stay for 8 hours giving candy for the type of the pokemon you use transform into
Nice Tier List!
Aerodactyl s tier against flying type because it gives XL and it’s rock. 4X effective against the bird trio
Duo*
I noticed you said that mega blaziken and swampert accumulate mega energy through walking. Since when and how does that work?
Make them your buddy and walk. You have to make it at least mega once
Or does the damage go back to normal also
It reverts back to the original Pokémon, so yes the damage goes back as well.
I think you should make a tier list that encompasses all around utility including raid damage, group damage and XLs because that's far more useful especially for newer players.

How is swampert not S. That’s actually crazy.
Mega Metagross will be S-Tier
@countjinsula plz 🙏 make new video guide after 1 yrs
I wonder if gmax is coming after all the megas are released
M.Aerodactyl is for sure S/A tier
Mega venusaure b tier its awesome
WOOOHOOOO. BLASTOISE CLIMBING UP THE LADDER. 🤣 YESSIR!
Someday Niantic Will bring gigantamax? Imagine mega, giga and terá together
Mega Guardevoir A Tier at least.
u hurt my wurmple.. lol
You missed mega audino
Mega rayqueza is OP
I trade blastoise with beedrill but very good
I feel like some non legendary As should have been S’s
It's really hard to make a case for some megas to be at the level of Mega Rayquaza and the Primals. Those are seemingly in a class of their own.
Why do we continue to nerf mega gardevoir 😩
Because Fairy isn't actually not that good for Raids, when you can instead use Dragon, Ice, Fighting, Dark or Ghost Megas to deal some actually stronger damage against anything Fairy would be useful against. I think it's in a trash tear it's not useful for any thing except candys
Garchomp Will be the best no legendary❤

14 not cutting it is crazy. My best is 14 12 12
