I recently changed to this amp paired with an Arcam ST60 streamer running a pair of KEF LS50 Meta speakers. I changed from a Yamaha RN803D because the pairing with the Meta’s, although amazing, was to bright and fatiguing. The Meta’s with the Arcam SA20 is absolutely perfect. The amp takes that sharpness out of the speakers. The highs are still perfect but not tiring. The mids are rich and the lows are tight and heavy. No sub required in my medium sized room. The Yamaha went into my small room, paired with Q Acoustics 3030i speakers. The volume is cranked up high and turned down halfway on the loudness control. That pairing is absolute perfection. I wanted to get a cds50 cd player but very difficult to find new now as discontinued. One for sale in London at £899, which is an absolute piss take. Offered them £600. Goung to run the Arcam with QED revelation speaker cable to Q acoustics 3050i floorstanders.
