The Blue Blob enemy on Acrid Air Pockets is probably the most uncanny and scary thing of anything once it expands. I don’t know how to describe it other than KILL IT!
This game has always been one of the freakiest things I ever played. The visuals, the locales, and the music -- especially the music; it all just felt like some kind of bad dream...
I remember playing this game on my GBA back when I was just a little kid, and this level at 1:07 always pisses me off because I keep trying to jump up on the branches but fell down to the very beginning of the level.
I have reason to believe that development of this game was either severely rushed or not enough effort was put in. The egregious renditions of the soundtrack, aided in no part whatsoever by the sound driver bug that screws up the tremolo/vibrato, as well as the less-than-pleasant graphics, flawed-at-best storyline and even touchy physics, don't do this title any justice at all - it wholly pales in comparison to its PlayStation counterpart, which is leagues better in all aspects.
I always thought this game was some sort of weird dream I had.
But it's real.
I played this a long time ago
This game is uncanny as hell. It used to give me goosebumps as a kid.

@@vodkawhisperer3923 I beat the jellyfish boss I'm the best gba player.

Finally found the game I was looking for. The one where Spongebob fights slugs in hell on the gba.
The game where chad spongebob perils through an actual nightmare world to get presents for his best friend's birthday
God i played this a lot as a kid, i remembered the soundtrack and the levels suddenly by watching this! Awesome TAS!
That feeling that hits you when you hear the first level after like a decade of not hearing it
honestly this looks more like a human playthrough rather than a tas
SpongeBob SquareBob: SuperBob
BobBob BobBob: BobBob

SpongeSuper SquareSuper: SuperSuper
God I loved this game, it was my first ever video game

My childhood... glad to see this finished in TAS.
Funny how they didnt care enough to animate Spongebob's face much. Most of the time he looks high.
He's a running psychopath...
this entire game probably could have been much better honestly. They probably didn't give much of a fuck about this version of the game.
This was still the superior version of the game imo.
@@alienxotic5028 correction: They didn't give a fuck about the game for both versions
@@shyguy85 old ass reply of mine and I heavily agree with this statement now
When the game said "get the 3rd coin" i felt that
I could never get passed the robot fish as a kid
All the memories with this game

Just replayed today (after like 8 years lol) beat it in 25 mins lol
Supersponge aesthetics just doesn't feel like SpongeBob. It looks any other franchise but SpongeBob.
I always scream WATER at the top of my lungs on the tree level when my water gets below ten
I remember playing it as a kid and taping a note with the password to the furthest level I got on the wall
Don't you mean "Springboob Squirepin: SuperSponge"?
Spunch pa
I'm looking for the one with the jellyfish nets what's that game called
