@@annonymousperson8508 If you don't have a smart tv, you can either make it a smart tv or use chromecast to cast. However you do need an Wifi connection to setup chromecast and use it. Ditch that. Purchasd a Roku to plug into your tv to turn it into a Smart TV. Roku has a built in screen mirror feature. You can screen mirror your phone to your tv and don't need a wifi connection. Hey....just had to do this myself. Do a master reset. Plug into TV and charger and hold button on chromcast down for 25 seconds. White light will then blink to red blinking light and back again.

What's the point of this device anyways if you already have an internet connection why would you even need this device.. The whole point was to use the internet from your phone mirrored to the TV.. but if you already have Wi-Fi that means you already have an internet connection and you don't even need this device.
