I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert

Government policies have, for decades, jeopardized the future. The impending repercussions suggest an anticipated 80% decline in the stock market. Investors are expected to shift focus towards real estate, as traditional banking may face financial instability. It's crucial to formulate a survival strategy in light of these potential changes.

00:01 The interview discusses the impact of high street inflation, global liquidity, and the use of gold and crypto as monetary hedges.
01:50 Global liquidity cycle has been consistently rising since September 2022, lifting Wall Street and risk assets.
06:02 Inflation is expected to be low in 2024 due to a supply side adjustment and falling prices.
08:15 Fiscal demands will cause the US government to turn to the Federal Reserve for funding, leading to an expanding fed balance sheet and more monetary inflation.
12:24 The capacity of the financial system to refinance debt is important, not just the interest rate.
14:25 The importance of liquidity in the modern world
18:05 Central banks play a key role in driving the global liquidity cycle.
19:55 The Chinese economy is showing signs of improvement and the pool of collateral in the world economy is expanding.
23:35 Fed's liquidity injection and low inflation are driving the stock market rally.
25:14 Fed's attempts to decrease their balance sheet may not matter to the market
28:43 Increased bill issuance and decreased coupon issuance by the US Treasury has contributed to a boost in liquidity in the market.
30:41 The New York Fed's reverse repo facility has seen a significant drop in value, leading to more liquidity in the system.
34:20 Federal Reserve increasing debt purchases leading to unsustainable burden on domestic private sector.
36:16 Monetization and increasing Federal Reserve balance sheet are a cause for concern.
39:59 Gold and crypto assets serve as good monetary inflation hedges.
42:05 Crypto is an attractive and decent barometer of liquidity.
45:35 Japanese inflation may lead to a shift in asset allocation away from bonds.
47:35 The traditional buyers of US debt are disappearing, leading to more pressure on the domestic investor.
51:08 Bitcoin is likely to be a store of value that is outside government control.
52:56 Tech companies are likely to use cryptocurrencies as vehicles for their treasuries.

well now you've freed up some capital out of that garbage shit show of the stock market, wait until this sucker's rally in cryptocurrency comes back down then buy in heavy into some crypto - bottom should be around Jan-Feb 2024. I highly recommend Solana for large growth potential and also it should stick around for the long term like BTC and ETH. I'd guess at the next crypto bubble top SOL hits 750-1000, but I'd start selling slowly at $500+. Better idea - dump all that junk stock and sink that all into crypto in a few months after this rally comes back down. The bull market should get kicked off in early 2024. You'll have millions starting with 500k.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for license advisors and came across someone of due diligence, helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to approx. $850k so far.

True, proper asset allocation is critical. Furthermore, some folk employ hedging strategies or devote a portion of their portfolio to defensive assets that perform well during market downturns. How else is this achievable except through expert guidance? So far, that’s how I’ve stayed afloat over 5 years now, amassing nearly $1m in return on investments.

The 10 year treasury is going higher (even after this brief pullback) once it goes past 5% again things go badly. Liquidity is not going to matter. In fact we are starting to seek US Bond auction failures. Which means the long end will need to go up ... which makes Yellen buying more debt just gets more expensive. Debt goes up even higher faster and then you have a self licking ice cream cone.... called a doom loop. Once unemployment kicks in hard and tax revenue goes down even more who is going to pay for all this debt if no one is buying it? This is the real risk no one is talking about. But hey go ahead just jump on the stock market rally ... everything is just fine.

Great presentation and interview as always, but I think it's too late to change QE... It's 15 years old now (an eternity in financial markets)! Plus, it adequately captures the dynamic as a form of pressure mediation i.e. "easing" the pressure. Expansion, contraction, etc.. Too much math in most of the markets. It's all about mediating pressure across the "curves" of time, space, energy, and resources. Anyway, apologies for the tangent. Thanks again!

    • @BigHenFor
      @BigHenFor 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

No; the fixation on the size of the government is missing one existent fact: if markets were working as they should, the government would not need to grow. And as far as demographics concerned, in work poverty in the age of the pill is a great contraceptive. Perhaps the plutocrats fears about 'demography' is just their chickens coming home to roost. Helping to break up families due to the stresses of surpressed wage growth, deindustrialisation, and Financialisation creating economic and social deserts within the richest country on the planet, may be evidence that the current economic paradigm is a pile of poop. Just saying.

I have a hunch that gold might benefit by the loosening of the reins on its manipulation as investors start to look at the crypto world as their preferred monetary inflation hedge. The amount of interest in the crypto market may only be fully realized once the BlackRock ETFs (and others to follow) are up and running. The reason being that governments around the world do not like their citizens finding safe harbour in decentralized currency. I believe that globally, governments would rather their citizens turn to gold as this is still firmly under their control. The only way governments can lure the investors away from the crypto market is to let gold find a more realistic value.

So hes advising buying 'real' assets like commodities and gold when as he stated, were heading into a period with large downside risk in demand and supply increasing (look at Saudi oil cuts as example). Global demand tanking.... lets buy commodities? Oh and gold. I guess banks, funds, and companies go into financing markets with gold as collateral..... Deep and liquid market there with a yielding asset... Oh and on the topic of monetary inflation, lending falling globally would be negative for creation of money correct?
