Great to see you so inspired by a simple training you were doing, and turning it into teaching for everyone. You show where the issues can arise and how to prevent having more serious problems as the pup matures to adult. You cover material we all can easily miss. There are truly NO BAD DOGS! Thank you for your passion and creativity.

Always helps when you give people a refresher course on how to train a puppy. Especially since I've only had rescues, and puppy training for me is different. You can be to stern with a puppy, as your used to training an older dog x

Great video!! All of the sudden my puppy started going nuts jumping around and pulling on leash after we were working well outside on this. So bizarre. I think i must've worked too long wirh her?? Poor boo boo- I brought her back in (and praised her for how great she'd done) and she sat right next to me. So interesting!! Could this be her saying "hey- you read me correctly. I like that" ☺️ ???( And big note to self- way shorter sessions!!)

And did you already implicitly teach Theo 'Break' or are you using it to get him familiar with it? And has Theo been taught to sit already as well? Thank you!

There is the competition with toys and anything else they want tochew on, ( sticks for example ). I'm trying to teach the puppy to walk on a leash but it's turning into an ordeal. The puppy bites are a "bloody" mess. How can I get your course? Thank you.

I love dogs. I just find bigger dogs, especially the "louder/barkyer" ones terrifying. I totally understand the fact of showing your fear.. wears on the dog and can make them more reactive and nervous. Any tips for getting over my silly fears?

We have two dogs, both are fixed and trained during Covid. Due to restrictions we did not get the normal handler training for prong collars. Female 3.5y and Male 2.5y. The male has become food aggressive and either dominant or fear based aggression. The male was tracking to train as a service dog. He will pick-up items I drop and assist me standing up. I have mobility issues. How do we handle the food issue? We are open to ecollar training.

I keep searching for videos about dog behaviour but the dogs I see in them have no where near the energy levels, leash pulling, reactivity of my 2.5 year old black female American Lab. I have been constantly training her since the beginning, to the best of my ability, but there is one thing that needs to be dealt with. The reactivity part can be intense and that is what worries me. The behaviour only happens with approximately 5% of other dogs and only when at the dog park or while walking when seeing other dogs. At home she is an angel. At a distance, she positions herself in an Egyptian sphinx posture looking at the new dog arriving in the dog park. Then, all of a sudden, she bolts towards the new dog, stops suddenly near by and greets with loud barks for a few seconds. 2 things can happen right after. 1-She smells the other dog for a few seconds then goes on her merry way. 2-She reacts and lunges towards and a small quarrel starts. The intensity of the quarrel varies, but I have tried to always remain calm but ready in order to try and separate them if need be. She has never harmed another dog or human. She seems dominant but after much research, I tend to believe that she came from a working dog mill (law enforcement). We brought her home at the age of 3 months. I was interested in a recall tool such as Dogtra E-Collars but they are banned in Quebec Canada. Is there a non electric training collar (vibration only) that would be suitable for recall purposes? Can you direct me to any of your videos about excessive reactivity/aggression?

I would love to see someone help dogs with a fear of thunder. We just adopted a 3 year old, 90 pound dog who is absolutely hysterical with thunder. She climbs on us, the furniture, tries to crawl into any tiny cubby hole. She will not move with a leash on, she is the worst i have ever seen. She’s terrified of thunder and other noise too. She is better with a vacuum as I’ve been working with her but storms are an entirely different thing. I’m desperate! We live in the mountains and always have big thunder, rolling thunder and a lot of storms. HELP!!! Please she’s miserable and scared!

Would a slip leash work and be safe with a Greyhound's skinny neck and head? I have a retired racing greyhound, almost 5yrs old. Over the past year she's been learning basic obedience, but I'm just starting her on break (my first dog, didn't know to do that part lol). Anyways, she really struggles with pulling on the leash. I'm thinking i need to back up several steps with her heel command. I also have been wondering if her martingale collar is just not getting her attention enough, she just doesn't seem to care about the corrections I give her. She's anxious in disposition and easily over stimulated, although she has come so far since I adopted her. She will scream when spooked or hugged to close, and hates being left alone. Have you ever trained with greyhounds? I'd love to see that video, they are such unique dogs due to their speed and build, and the fact they are often homed later in life and have to learn stairs and strangers and how the microwave isn't going to kill them and how to be alone!
