the metal frame was like an option with the first release - not sure if they continued it but the legs were a little loose on it
while the sentinel gundam bits are obvious I think this guy takes his dna a lot more from the HiyakuShiki, ZZ and maybe a bit from the Todesritter

Should had been labeled as the Lambda Plus MS since design concepts for this had been around for over a decade ago and recently some years ago from DeviantArt as an MSV from the Gundam Sentinel series. There's the Zeta Plus, Delta Plus, Theta Plus(ZZ Gundam), Sigma Plus(Ex/S Gundam). The basic Lambda MA/MS design looks like this without the wings and extra long Smart Beam Gun. Also this solves the MG Zeta hip joint issue by bending on the upper leg instead of splitting the hip joint. Anyway this MA transformation seems similar to the Wing and AGE_II gundam. Loved the shoulder conversion in MA mode which I can try for making my MG FAZZ(without the armor) ver_Ka and transform it into the Theta Plus Gundam.

Did the Zeta Plus have the same gun as the EX-S? I can't remember, because going and looking at line art the regular S doesn't have that similar scope attachment.

This still isn't as bad as the Motor Nuclear kit I just finished. That kit had a lot of parts. Wait until I post that and show how big the box was!
I was impressed at how everything fit together. Really solid engineering behind its design, and I'd imagine even more so with the upcoming version with the diecast joints.

How good is the plastic?

Pretty sturdy. Things went together well. Some spots need a drop of glue or two due to the size and connection, but overall this was a pretty good effort. I feel the later Infinite Dimensions/ In Era kits stepped up the quality as well, if you're keeping an eye on any of those.

I'd whole heartedly recommend it, especially if you like the very Gundam- esque design.
Push comes to shove though, I'd have to give the edge on impressive kit to the new Motor Nuclear ones. I should have a video on the first one pretty soon. Comparable price and almost double the amount of parts, plus a diecast inner frame to boot!

Yeah, after building that Motor Nuclear model, it's impressive what a solid core those metal parts give it.
