Hey ..this is what I was looking for to get rid of chronic Cartridge issue and I was struggling for E 15 error since over a week. Many thanks for a detailed video ..I tried and its working..Great help...Thanks again
thanks for the video. i have a mp210 and this method didn't work completely because the paper didn't stop in the middle way. so i hold the paper when it is about in middle until the device stop pulling the paper. then i pull the paper from paper tray and pressed the copy button to rid of the e3 error. after that i was able to scan.
Can confirm it works on mp250 with no cartridges. If it doesnt work right away... keep trying step 2 a few times, since its a bit picky on the button press timing. Should eventually should show "0", then restart printer and should boot to "1" mode. I printed a copy of these instructions and keep them in the scanner bed for the few times per decade I need a scanner. Get the drivers and scan software from the cannon website.
I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.
It works on canon pixma mp150, the only deference is that I need to stop the paper by hand when it try to go out, to put it mode 3. After that I go out the paper from down side of the printer and push the green button in the middle of tree buttons to go in 1.
