Glad you highlighted the positives of smaller grounds. Our club's initial plan is to build an 18.5k new stadium. It feels about right and I hope we dont lose the benefits of Dean Court in the process. Thank you for your positivity and appreciation of our small but perfectly formed abode! 🍒
I'm an American Bournemouth supporter. Visiting this stadium is a dream of mine that I'll probably never get to realize. Especially with talks of a new stadium. Thank you for this tour. UTCIAD!
As a bournemouth fan, this is one of the best video covering our stadium. your knowledgeable (some facts i didn't know) and you didn't keep talking about the size. thanks.
I remember the old dean court throwing in pound coins to save this club! Fill out the stadium to just help this club just survive. Still shocked, we are in the prem! Nice vid mate!
Spot on with the training ground for building a new one which should be ready later this year. And then the plan is to build a new stadium on where the training pictures currently.
New to the channel but as a cherries 🍒 fan appreciated such positive coverage. I laughed when you said you were making some of it up because a lot of your guesses were pretty accurate 😂. Thennnnnnn I 😮 spotted myself. 3mins of TH-cam fame for me 😉 Great vlog can't wait to watch your other ground tours.
Great video! Love my little stadium 🍒🍒 I was there back in the day when 3k was probably the maximum crowds we were getting! 18 years I’ve had my season ticket and well proud of my club!🍒
Thank you Ry for a very well balanced and produced video account of your visit to our little stadium! As you said, we do currently have the smallest in the Prem, but our new American owner, Bill Foley, is fully committed to rapid expansion of all our facilities. Currently we are building a £30M state-of-the-art Training Centre about 7 miles from Dean Court and the current Training Ground. Once that’s complete to focus will then shift to a brand new Stadium right next to the current one! Initially it will have a capacity of about 18,500, with the ability to be expanded by another 3-4,000 as we continue to grow! He wants us to be a serious contender for European football in the next 5 years, and with his determination and finances, that is looking increasingly more likely! We are determined to shake off the ‘Tin Pot’ nickname and show all the doubters we are here to stay! 🍒⚽️Up The Cherries⚽️🍒
Wow! Lucky I stumbled onto this channel after watching the ‘Back of the Net’ vlog - absolutely superb video and narrating this, but you have made a very proud Cherries 🍒 fan even more prouder of our club! I really hope you had a great time even though it was not a typical sunny sunny Bournemouth day bud 😃👍
great stuff went there years ago when it was terraces you need to get one of those half and half scarfs hereford and manchester united congratulations on the 10k subs well deserved now on to 20k keep up the great work steve
Love watching these videos from over in Australia. Can you do a Hereford Edgar Rd tour? I went there back in late 2005 to watch Hereford play. They had an Australian player and we had met a guy in Australia from Hereford so we went over to meet him and watch a game. Sad to see what happened but glad the club is still going. Must dig out my old Hereford home shirt.... It won't fit now tho 😂
I’ve had a Hereford video half finished for about a month but been waiting on them getting back to me for a tour 😅 was there the other week Vs Torquay 👍🏾
I do Edgar the Bull Mascot for Hereford, I don’t think we do tours, it’s not advertised I know that, the only tours we do is when we have the open day every season
Couple of corrections first stadium is owned by Structadene as when we had financial problems we had to sell it. Next we are over halfway building new training ground about 10 miles away. You are correct thats where the owner has said hes building the new stadium
going to miss people being able to pop by on their morning jog or cycle and give a nod or hello to the staff/players - the new training centre will be great and then a new ground will be amazing - but you’re right, it’ll up the corporate and zero access feeling.
May I ask, if you ever did this sort of thing again, could you review each of the clubs? Like could you compare pies for example, in which you make a league of pies. Points deducted if the pie is a Pukka one and add points if it is homemade and if it was good. Also when you finish this series, if you did a top 20 of things from club shop to ground, who would be your favourite and least favourite?
I've deliberately kept any kind of table or tier system away from the videos to avoid any scrapping in the comments 🤣 maybe it'll be fine on the pies though haha I'll start Saturday at Sheffield United 👍🏽
Great video, well done mate. But two questions every AFCB fan must be asking... (1) How did you get a ticket? (2) How did you get a camera in? Because capacity is so small, the club operate a loyalty points system and as a rule you need to have been to around 30 previous games to even get a sniff of a ticket. And the body searches at the turnstiles and list of prohibited items (including "professional recording equipment") wouldn't be out of place at Strangeways. Glad you did anyway - and was the Hereford away shirt just a coincidence?
Hello mate, tickets was open to purchase for anyone as it was an FA Cup game and loads spare 😊 loved the club, fans, little stadium etc 👍🏾 I was born in the ‘Ford! 😁 you can take cameras into most grounds so long as they haven’t got a zoom lens. I think back then I was using a different camera but now I use an Osmo Pocket 3 (gimbal)
£30 MILLION on new training facility. The proposed new stadium will be next on the currently used training ground. Another £50 million. Supporters in main stand and East stand over 80% season holders. Plus held tbem before premiership. Nothing plastics about cherries 🍒.

You should come to the hottest place in the championship right now Hull City were players like Jadon Philogene (Aston Villa, England U21), Fabio Carvalho (Liverpool, Portugal U21), Taylor Morton (Liverpool, England U21), Liam Delap (man city, England U21), Ivor Pandur (Croatia U21) choose too play for Liam Rosenior's young Hull City Squad. Klopp turned down Leeds Utd and Southampton too send Carvalho to Hull from what has been built here, we have been very busy in the January sales 🛍️ We also have the best chairman in the league with Acun Ilıcalı.

I remember when my team notts county was playing Bournemouth at one point league 2 2009/2010 season
Yea Notts County used to be a regular fixture for us it feels like 🍒🍒
AFC Bournemouth is a great team and deserve a new stadium

wow how interesting.
But Bournemouth are in the premiership you are not
Nothing against notts Co hope they do well .and great support. But Bournemouth are puching above their wait .if Bournemouth can do so notts co !

Harry Redknapp still watches Bournemouth most weeks now doesn't he? Really enjoyed my evening at Dean Court 😊
They should have stuck with Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic to keep with tradition of the south coast Brighton and Hove Albion.
Fair point 😊 especially as the ground is in Boscombe
i went to that match
