Hands down the best hotel loyalty brand. Next would be marriott, then IHG, then hyatt. Hyatt is nice as far as points but the hilton experience is wayyyy better.

      Thank you!
If you are below 5/24 we would recommend focusing on Chase first just because you can always get other hotel cards later, but you can't always get Chase later

@@CreditCardBS I have the trifecta and yes combined to me it’s a great points system especially for Hyatt. I think im going towards WOH 💳

Enjoyed the banter and breakdown - however this seemed more like a comparison video to other Hotel brands. A lot of great knowledge here overall though!

Nice video. I think that the the low point valuation for Hilton is offset by sheer number of points you receive based on spend. Having both Hilton and Marriot memberships and credit cards i have found that their costs of redemption are similar.

I guess I have better luck than the average person but I easily get around .7 cents per point on a single night. I think where people underestimate the cents per point is actually hitting the book button. Taxes and fees aren't added until you get this far. Especially if you are staying in a resort area. Using Hawaii as an example, $50 bucks is pretty standard for resort fee. You don't pay this when booking with Hilton/Hyatt points. You do with Marriott. Just picked a random city (Montgomery, AL) and chose 1st hotel (doubletree). Highest standard room is $363.27 or 40k points. That's .9 cents point. Non of that is even counting the free cookie lol. All this aside, the best program is what's available where you need them. I only average about 60 nights a year for work. I chose Hilton because I get the best return. Hyatt isn't where I need them and Hilton points are easier to get than Marriott. Marriott is my second and almost beats Marriott because they have such a huge footprint. If it's wasn't for their resort fees on redemptions and capped free nights, I would have them at #1.

Couldn’t agree more with you on the final total after all fees and taxes. Combined with the 4 nights on points with 5th night free helps those valuations

Marriott Titanium is pretty good in Asia/Middle East but Hilton status is just so easy to earn

This is wrong AMEX Hilton is not offering the upgrades to the Hilton and the Surpass after the one year anniversary. I have called them several times So just stuck with the Aspire.

I hate Hiltons point system. I can’t ever find properties for over .4 cents a point. I call them Land Pesos just like many call Delta points Sky Pesos. Funny they are both AMEX travel partners….IRONIC?
I stick to earning points for Marriott, Hyatt, and Wyndham. I can routinely find redemptions over the 1 cent per point standard.

You need to be using your points at high end properties and getting the 5th night free. Totally possible to get 0.8-1cpp with this.

Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. It's a premium travel portal that usually counts as a direct booking and also comes with additional benefits
