    I had no idea at all that "circus" actually meant something in racing in both Japan and France. But Taito America (the US arm of Taito of Japan) didn't get this, believing that "circus" in US parlance meant a fun-filled festival at a big top full of clowns and animals, changed it to Continental Circuits for the US release in 1988.

    I remember reading about the Contintental Circus thing back in the day and knew the Donkey Kong and Pacman stories too. But Tutankham and Dead Angle are definitely new to me!
